How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This hotel was beautiful! The room was perfect. The view out of the windows in our room were amazing. The bathroom seemed larger compared to most of the places in Colombia that I’ve stayed, and the bed was very comfortable. They also provided a van and the staff were very friendly!

The walls are thin. The 5 minute walk UP hill to the coach station.
5 minute walk down hill from the bus station. Clean. Bed good. Shower good. Loads of little restaurants locally. About 20 minute walk to centre of town.

The place was very clean and well-organized. The staff were fantastic — friendly and helpful, offering great tips on what to do (and what to avoid) in the area. It’s just an easy 8–10 minute walk from the terminal. There’s a nice restaurant on the corner, plus a market and coffee shops right on the same street.

Conveniently located near the bus station (though we were a little lost getting to the hotel at first, mainly because the station is a bit confusing!) We only stayed very briefly but the room was nice and clean, the hot water was a plus. Would book again.

Great value for money! Very clean, great shower stream, hot water available, and comfortable beds; it does feel as new. Alexandra from the staff is so kind, friendly, and gave me great tips to go around the city. The place is close to the bus terminal yet quiet and with plenty of good restaurants around. I'm planning to return already!

A quiet, modern, and mostly clean hostel. I did find some leftover rubbish on the floor when I checked in, but the staff were helpful when I mentioned it. During my stay, there were only 1–2 other guests, so there wasn’t much of a social vibe.

I am a light sleeper and had a room too close to reception that can be loud and the lights in the corridor are not often switched off as light gets into the room. However when I contacted the property they reacted promptly. I’d still recommend asking for a room away from reception.
Value for money. Location close to bus terminal and exit to airport. Quiet area with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Property quickly responsive when contacted through Booking.com

Great Price to Value Ratio. Friendly and helpful stuff. Even free coffee. Clear rooms, and great showers and a comfortable bed. One of the best hostels I have been in Colombia

Modern hostel, very comfortable, well kept and very clean. This hostel has both mens and womens dormitories, plus private rooms. If anything needed attention or repairs, management attended to it immediately.. Friendly staff. Located on a street with restaurants and grocery stores. Close to the bus station and a short taxi ride to downtown.

Great little hostel that was so quiet I had the dorm to myself. Staff were kind and warm. Coffee in the morning, and very importantly very close to a couple of nice bars/restaurants and to the bus station. Also the dormitories are really nice and modern and comfortable with great curtains and a boutique feel.

There isn't really anything I didn't like about this place
This hostel is one of the best in Pereira as I have tried a few... staff are really friendly, it's really clean with good facilities and the location is really good being close to cafes and restaurants as well as the transportation terminal and main center of Pereira! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good hostel while being very affordable A+++

They requested a online form prior to arrival which asks you to declare much personal information; although they did accept my refusal.
The location was within walking distance of the bus terminal, although taking a safe route on busy streets takes some planning. Such good value for a quiet, clean hotel on a funky street with plenty of food options.
