Reviews of Hotel Verony Guatape 5 stars

The location is ok if you drive. Otherwise you need a tuk tuk to go the rock or the centre. It looks like it is in a quiet location but it is right by the road, it is quite noisy. Cars start pass by very early in the morning.

Great location, but, please be aware that is very close to the main road, then, a lot of noise coming from there plus the rooms sound isolation is not good enough, conclusion, great location close to everything, but if you are looking for a place to have a good rest and peace, look somewhere else.

The location, staff very friendly

The pool area was fantastic! Our 16, 14 & 12 year olds loved it. Music playing poolside and food service available. Reception was very attentive, in organising laundry and tuktuks into Guatape!

No window in the main part of our family room! Also, the double bed in the family room - the mattress felt and sounded like it was covered in a scrunchy nappy so every movement was really loud. I’m a light sleeper so felt it, maybe others wouldn’t.

The view, price, pool, very friendly and helpful staff. 10 minutes from Guatape town in a tuk tuk.

Small bedroom, very small bathroom, you could hear the other guests when they spoke on the corridors. music in the pool could be less loud so the nature around can be appreciated better.

Thw long wait at the hotel bar/restaurant. The employees just vanish

Absolutely nothing one elevator you had to wait a long time you can hear everything from every room the restaurant the food was terrible La comida tenía demasiado condimento. The staff was very rude. Very very rude. The restaurant prices way too high. Breakfast was very basic every day the same thing egg bread, fruits that’s it.

There’s too much to name. I did not like nothing at all about this Hotel. Please read all the reviews before booking. I did not do that and I regret it.

It was perfect for what we needed. Close to guatape town, only one night stay, quiet at night, pool was lovely!

Check out was late and besides breakfast (pretty bad), the food on the hotel restaurant was good.

Old and smelly old building. Everything looked old and careless. The room was super noisy just close to the pool and with some noisy appliances inside too.

Hotel Verony is a very basic, no-frills hotel where you get exactly what you pay for. I have no idea how it was rated 4 stars. It took about 10 minutes for hot water to come from the tap. The furniture was very simple, and the beds felt more like those you’d find in a hostel. Nothing luxurious about it at all.

Good location between El piedra and Guatapé. Good breakfast (with fruits, which we don't get often in Colombia). The rooms are comfortable.

Loud music at the pool all day long.
