Quebec City, Canada
These lofts are well located for Quebec City, but more in "Trendy" up coming (still under development) area. There were a lot of vibrant bars and restaurants just around the corner which for younger family's may not be so welcoming. It was a fair hike to the famous "Old Town"; and due to the nature of Quebec was up some very steep hills. Beds are comfy and apartment is a very good size. A lot of people complained about parking, but we used Dorchester Parking (open, not covered parking) and it was very reasonable at $20 for 24 hours and less than a 5 mins walk, 1 street away.
Everything with the flat was clean and sufficient, but not overly so. For instance whilst there were tea and coffee facilities there was no actual tea or coffee, or sugar etc. There was no information about how to control the heating/air conditioning system so it took us a few hours to adjust to comfortable. Also the "contract" and check in were disconcerting. They ask you to complete it AFTER you've paid, and BEFORE they give you access code; but they will respond to queries through booking.com quickly and its all legitimate! The access code is only sent 2 hours before check in (2pm, for 4pm arrival) so if you miss that email you're not getting in!!
Edmonton, Canada
I stayed at this hotel to help my son prepare for his dorm life as he enters the University of Alberta. The location was very convenient, both for going to the university and taking the LRT. There was a convenience store nearby where we could buy drinks, detergent, and other necessities. It was also helpful that we could walk to a Safeway supermarket in about 15 minutes. Above all, the staff were all kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Edmonton.
Montréal, Canada
Great Hotel, great breakfast selection, comfy beds. We had the family suite with two (older) teenage boys and it was great there was space for us all. The pool is indoors, but the outdoor rooftop patio (upstairs beside the indoor pool) was really pleasant and a welcome break after a day of sight seeing! Having a kitchen in the suite was really helpful.
The breakfast area was too crowded in the morning. We ended up doing a "take away" breakfast, taking trays of food back to our room rather than stay in breakfast area.
Canmore, Canada
The property is almost perfect save for the grimmy floors. The cleaning team should do a better job mopping floors. They were very dusty. Otherwise I score the place 8/10!!
Lake Louise, Canada
The location is good, the restaurant was very nice and the waiter lovely and gave us advice of where to visit.
Where do I start! There is no air conditioning in the hotel. They say it is for conservation but then they don't have an option to not have your towels washed daily. It was so hot in our room and then the power went out so we couldn't even run a fan. We had to open our door to breath which was not ideal for security or bears! The next morning they didn't even offer us free breakfast until so many people complained then they did. Very expensive hotel for what you get.
Vancouver, Canada
The hotel was in a great location and was very clean. I enjoyed the pool and spa.
I cannot belive they haven't upgraded to queen size beds in all rooms. There is so much space so it would have made our stay so much better. For a hotel of this standard it's very surprising.
Jasper, Canada
The location was good and there was free parking.
There was no air conditioning. It was so hot you could hardly sleep. Basic but clean rooms and quite expensive.
