We had a beautiful generous room on the top floor (I think we got an upgrade!). All the amenities were high quality and generous. We had a nespresso machine in the room and there was one in the lobby. A dream come true for European travelers! The bathroom was big and well equipped as well. The location seemed not that great at first but then we realized we were 5 min walk away from all the action. The staff was extremely friendly, responsive and patient. We also had breakfast at the property which was also great. All in all an amazing experience!

Cozy Private Room in Stratford

We stayed for 2 nights as we attended Stratford shows and plays in the summer 2025. At first, it looked a bit off the beaten path (it is) but by car, it was a mere 7 minutes to either the Festival or Avon theatres. It was super easy in / out of the city to get to our room and made the location much more bearable than anticipated. We were able to use the kitchen and fridge which was very nice. A nice living room was also made available to us as well as the deck. We also had our own washroom which we appreciated.

The bedroom itself was comfortable but a little tight for 2 people and luggages. Otherwise it had everything needed. Note that the location is not walkable to town - you need a car to get in / out. However, it's quite easy to get to with one.

We had a wonderful time at Etoile 1500-5. We really enjoyed the well equipped kitchen (it really had everything!) and the living room space where we could hang out as a family. The bedrooms were all great, comfy beds and also well furnished. All the instructions to the property as clear and David and David were super quick and responsive when we had some questions. We even had a box of chocolates waiting for us when we got there. Would definitely come back here if we’re in this corner of the world again.

Nothing really comes to mind. The only thing we could’ve done without was the noise of the maintenance team at 7.30 am but that’s not the propertiy‘s fault…

We spent 2 nights at this location and were pleased with this choice. Located in the Old Town, it offers easy walking access to the entire of Old Town, the Bush Pilots memorial (make sure to go up that rock for spectacular views) and many top-notch fish and chips places or try the restaurant on the premises that is well rated as well. Room was clean and comfortable and offered views on the lake and has a great balcony.

For a multi-day stays, it would have been nice to have a few quick supplies in the room like coffee / tea / sugar and creamers. There is a fridge and minimum cutlery / cups etc but you have to buy everything - there are no easy breakfast / coffee shops around.

Our room was quiet and had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and we were allocated a quiet room (as we had requested), and having breakfast provided was also good, and the wait time was not too long at this time.

The AC unit was quite noisy but at least it worked Service at the restaurant was very slow at dinner time. We planned to eat there, but after taking a seat we heard other patrons saying they had been waiting a long time to be served, so we left.
