The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is close to the Forbidden City (we were able to get there on foot). The staff was friendly and in majority spoke English. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was tasty and there were multiple options, both Asian and Western. It is worth mentioning concierge Gary who was very helpful and recommended us a taxi driver to the Great Wall of China:) I really appreciate a note that the hotel staff left about the event that was hapenning on the weekend. Thanks to this note, we noticed that the Forbidden City is by exception closed earlier and we still managed to visit it and schedule the necessary time. I would certainly recommend this hotel for the people outside of China especially thanks to the smooth service in English.

We were a little dissapointed by the dinner organized by hotel in the event of closure of the part of the city. There was some army rehersal and due to this ocasion the part of the city, together with the area in which hotel was located was closed from 5 p.m. To help the guests, the hotel organized a dinner in the cost of 100 yuan per person, which was very thoughtful. However, the dinner was not perpared well, because when we got there (in the middle of the time shceduled for it), majority of options were finished. Of course, with the time the part of the options was refilled, but it looked like they were not prepared for the number of hotel guests (it was obvious that nearly everybody will come, since there were no other options). It was just one time ocassion, but for me it was quite stressful, as being locked up in the hotel under police supervision is not an everyday event.

High quality hotel. The location is so close to the Prince Teng Pavilion and other attractions. The room was very comfortable and had good facilities. The swimming pool was great, having proper lanes for swimming lengths was perfect for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially the waitress in the restaurant when we ate Al a carte. She made us feel so welcome and special. The Japanese restaurant was also very tasty. Would definitely stay again.

The lunch and dinner buffet prices felt quite expensive compared to eating outside of the hotel. And it said it was an all day restaurant but in practice the buffet was only at certain times which was confusing.

Paragon Jonson Hotel is located right next to Beijing Railway Station, within walking distance — which makes it very convenient if you’re planning a train trip. The hotel has a nice restaurant and serves a good breakfast buffet. Across the road (less than 100 meters away), there are additional restaurants and convenience stores. The only drawbacks were that the rooms felt old, there wasn’t much of a view, and the bathroom was quite small.

Room facilities

This hotel is ideally located near many of Shanghai’s top attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The rooftop revolving restaurant offers an amazing dining experience with stunning views, and the complimentary laundry service is an excellent added bonus. There’s also a small shopping mall right next to the hotel with a food court and various restaurants, plus a convenient store on the ground floor.

Great hotel located very close to the airport. It offers free shuttle bus to Terminal 3, which is very convenient. I think this hotel offers everything that is needed for a stay just after or before the flight. Majority of staff spoke English and the service on a good level. The breakfast offered musltiple options (also Western ones).

Room and bathroom was luxurius but the staff did not pay attention to details: the shower head hose was damaged. During the breakfast service the sfaff did not undestand a simple words like omlette or scrambled eggs and pointed the text (still wrong in my case;p). These are very minor things and still I would recommend this hotel as it is a great option for the stay before a flight, just pointing them a space for improvement:)

Stunning hotel. Very high standard throughout. The rooms were spatious with fantastic facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. Had no complaints whatsoever. One of the best hotel stays we've had.

Really good location for accessing Zhangjiajie Forest Park - only 15-20mins walk to the east entrance. The rooms were spatious, clean and comfortable. Liked that the hotel had a sustainability ethos and didn't do a daily sheet change.

The breakfast was a bit of a let down. Lots of options but the quality was only OK. Especially with being a 5 star hotel we expected more from it.

The receptionist, Hannah, was super welcoming and helpful. She gave us an upgrade and the room we had was big!! It was such a beautiful surprise and glad we changed hotel for just a couple of nights (because of the pool and spa facilities). It was such a nice room and hotel layout, shower was powerful, everything was clean and super comfy. I loved all of it, breakfast was amazing!! And also the gym, pool and the spa was just so good! This has been the best hotel we’ve been to, and we have been to many!!

There wasn’t anything not to like.. everything was perfect!
