It was a lovely little gem. In a great location. Jaime has done a wonderful job. The dorm is cute and quirky. There is a lovely terrace out front, a great bar inside, a little central courtyard with paintings, plants and a lemon tree. It’s a great place to lie in a hammock in peace to escape the heat. Jaime was lovely and Anna assisted him very well. The coffee and drinks were good. The tour they suggested with Chipi was the best i’ve done here and it was just all round really lovely. One of my favorites.

This place is quite nice, staff really nice as well. You will have a breakfast with a view every morning. For us as a family with one child was just perfect. The room we had was squeaky clean. To receive a room with a view its a hit or miss, we haven’t got one with a view but was ok anyway. Definitely recommend the place

This place is like an oasis in the old town Bogota. We enjoyed our 2 nights spent here. The place has attitude, and the staff was just amazing. The room was just perfect, heated floor was just like a surprise for us. We felt sorrowful when we had to leave.

The property is something different. It looks interesting and for sure value for money is ok. Its situated in Laureles and for me personally is one of the best places in Medellin. The room was clean and big enough for our family

The only good things this hotel offered were the housekeeping service and the meals. I would especially highlight the breakfast and the Humo restaurant.

I guess it’s the first five-star hotel where I had an absolutely terrible stay and had to tell staff every moment what to do. Professionalism: The staff were unprofessional, slow, and not at a five-star level. When I asked the receptionist for help, he said: “Find a guy and ask him for his number; he’s going to be your concierge.” Accessibility: My husband had surgery on both knees and could not walk up the hills to reach breakfast or the pool. Although club cars were available, they often didn’t arrive or only came after the third call. We had to involve the guest relations manager to get cars to show up. Stacked fees: The restaurant prices were “above the moon,” and on top of that the hotel adds a “customer service fee” while still expecting tips. After talking to locals, I found out this is not in line with regulations. Overall, the attitude was that guests are treated like bags of money rather than valued visitors. The situation at the beach was the final straw. I was charged $80 for a 15-minute massage that I did not want, and when I went to file a report the security guard showed me a list of more than 15 people scammed that same day, including one guest who lost $600. The hotel is fully aware of this problem, yet does nothing about it. Aside from housekeeping and food, this hotel failed in every key area: service, accessibility, pricing practices, and guest safety. For a hotel that calls itself five-star, I expected far better.

Proximity to the sea, a pool, good AC, helpful staff at location.

It’s complicated for people with no Colombian bank accounts. You can book via booking.com but then you have to make bank transfer to a Colombian bank to pay for it.
