Hotel is very good. I would stay once again. I would like to recommend them small things : the breakfast must start a little earlier since most tours start early in the morning . The bed size is a little bad . No large enough for a mid size couple . The bed is too small . I was under a problem with power plug from my computer . Then I did ask from an adaptor . Most reasonable hotels whom provide service for foreigner must offer power plug adapters . Also advertise to customer to do not forget Mosquitos repellent.

The natural surroundings are truly stunning. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and it is beautiful. Watching the scenery from the restaurant area was also a wonderful experience. The location is very special in terms of its natural environment.

For $160 (excluding taxes), I expected more comfort and security. The room, shower, wc were nearly open and was full of mosquitoes. If you are sensitive to insects, mosquitoes, spiders, or other wildlife, this place may not be suitable for you. Also, the door had no lock, and when I asked about safety, I was told there was one security guard, but we never saw him. So we didn't feel secure. There was no refrigerator in the room and not even drinking water provided. The Wi-Fi did not work in our room; although they gave us a password, there was no WIFI that we were able to connect. (There is no phone service in the area.) If you come by car, finding the parking can be challenging since Google Maps does not show the reception or the parking area. It would be better to ask for the parking location in advance, especially since there is no phone signal there.

The place is stunningly beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully considered and breathtaking views. The staff was very pleasant and attentive, and the dinner was excellent.

For those who are less comfortable with nature, this place may not be suitable. The rooms are not well protected against insects and other animals—we even had frogs come into our room. In addition, we were woken up very early by loud noises.

The only genuinely helpful people were the bell boys, one kind receptionist at check-out, and a few servers at the buffet.

We stayed for 6 nights with a large group and were initially hopeful. The lobby was inviting and the bell boys were friendly. However, check-in was poorly handled, most of our rooms weren’t ready by 3pm, and instead of clearly communicating that, we were told to “come back later for your room numbers.” It wasn’t a huge delay, but the lack of transparency set the tone. Day 1 was uneventful, we relaxed, ate, and had an early night. The food was average. The sports bar and beach club menus weren’t great, but the buffet offered more variety. Day 2 revealed the resort is not as kid-friendly as advertised. The kids’ room had no working AC and the staff member didn’t seem to enjoy being around children. Kids under 4 aren’t allowed to participate in most activities. We tried to join a painting competition listed on the itinerary, only to find out it didn’t exist, it had been replaced with a writing contest, which obviously isn’t toddler-appropriate. Our daughter wasn’t allowed to participate but was offered a pen and paper to draw with us. By Day 3, several in our group (7 adults and 2 kids) started experiencing stomach issues that worsened overnight. By Day 4, 6 of us were seriously ill with what was clearly food poisoning, including my 2.5-year-old daughter. We spent the remainder of the trip mostly confined to our rooms. One of our group members went to the on-site clinic, where the doctor offered to listen to his stomach, provide Gatorade, and probiotics, but all in vain, since he admitted he would eventually have to send us to the hospital anyway, as had already happened with at least two other groups staying at the resort. Because of this, we ended up buying everything ourselves, as we had completely lost trust in the resort staff’s ability to handle the situation. To make matters worse, he was advised not to drink the water at the pool, and even encountered other guests with the same symptoms, including one being sent to the ER.

The stairs in the room were very unsafe, and some were even unstable. The cats were a serious nuisance—both at the pool and during breakfast they wouldn’t stop bothering us. They even entered our room, and we had to call for assistance to take them out.
