We LOVED staying here. If you like nature, then this is a wonderful place to base yourself for a few days. Our room was surrounded by glass which looked out to the beautiful view of the lake and allowed us to observe birds and other wildlife from inside our room. We could also do this on the terrace which was really lovely too. No need for aircon or fan in the room as the climate here is cool and refreshing. Hot water in the shower was an added bonus. Agus and his family are so welcoming and helpful. They all made our stay so enjoyable - giving us great tips and guidance for making the most of our time in the area. They showed us a short cut which is just 10 minutes by foot to the botanical gardens which we had pretty much to ourselves. The food served for breakfast is so generous and delicious - we were often full until the late afternoon! Strawberry juice and home made jam were particular highlights. We had lunch and dinner on site as well and it was all super tasty!

Excellent rooms with clean linen and big rooms. The bathroom was also well maintained. My room had a private balcony. This is a smoker friendly property with an ashtray placed in the balcony. The breakfast location was very close to my room and the food was sumptuous and the staff were delightful. I had to leave very early one morning for a cooking class and the team quickly packed me a filling breakfast to have in the cab. They were so kind and sweet. There are monkeys on the property and their are employees assigned to keep monkeys are bay. Really loved the location, the swimming pool which is open all day, the property is well maintained. Highly recommend for anyone.

Did not enjoy the interaction at check-in with the check-in staff. He also requested for payment for all 3 days right at the beginning which was a little odd. And you need buy your own water. You can buy it from a nearby store like K Circle. They provide 2 tiny little bottles in the room.

The property, the staff, the hospitality is all extremely good. Best property I have ever stayed in a long time! Special mention to the staff that took care of us for the duration of our stay - Komang, Sara, Krisna, Yuni, Panji , Agus and Pande. The staff has catered to everything in the most warm manner possible. On requesting for an upgrade to the pool villa for our second night , they did it for us free of cost. The villa and rooms are beautiful. Lots of thought to tiny little details. We.loved our stay and will definitely come back! Will also recommend this place to more people for sure :) Lovely experience! Lovely people and a great accommodation!

Checking in was a little dull compared to other places. Could've been more welcoming, however all other staff were very friendly. The room was huge but felt empty, there were no pictures on walls or soft touches. It was clean and they maintained it well. We had the high tea one afternoon which was nice and the pool was lovely to swim in. The location is very suitable for those wanting to go to local beach clubs. Some really good cafes close by if you have a bike.

Expected more for the money. I have had the same for half the price. Air conditioner didn't go cold enough, was only allowed to set it at 20 degrees

It’s hard to communicate with the staff in English. Mainly in the restaurant. Make sure they understand what you are asking or you’ll get a different dish not the one you’ve ordered.

I've been travelling to Bali for 35 years and stayed at many villas The bathrooms are disgusting and need updating. The smell of the water was so disgusting we had to use bottled water for everything including washing your hair. The next door neighbours have a house full of dogs and that's what you hear all night. Unless you love walking and a very busy main road .this unit is not for you,it isn't close to anything. Very dissatisfied
