Everything! A beautiful place in a perfect location, just a 10 minute walk to Port Mathurin. Waking up to the sound of roosters meant no need for an alarm, and during the day we enjoyed the lively Sega music drifting over from across the road. Having breakfast on the front porch was a highlight...breathing in the fresh tropical air while admiring a vibrant array of colourful tropical trees and lush plants. Most memorable of all was Juliana, the wonderful property host, who made us feel truly at home and part of the family. She even kindly let us use the unoccupied part of the property, giving us access to an extra dining room and kitchen, such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more comfortable.

This apartment was wonderful. Communication with the owner was efficient, and he provided all the necessary information. Check-in was also smooth. The apartment was new, clean, and very nice. It had various amenities, such as Wi-Fi, hot water, air conditioning, a washing machine, towels, and kitchen appliances. It was very close to the beautiful Flic an Flac beach; you basically just have to cross the street. Parking was easily accessible. There are many restaurants and a Carrefour store nearby.

The location was perfect for my needs, very close to where my family were staying. There was also an access to the beach within walking distance. The separate entrances to the units provided just the right amount of privacy. The size of the unit was more than sufficient for one person.

I'm pretty sure that the owner doesn't have much influence on the factors that made my stay a little less pleasant, one of which was a constant overnight barking of the dogs. It took me two nights to adjust and start tuning it out. And while I my brain was successful in adjusting to the natural sounds, having someone in the vicinity blare music through very powerful speakers at 7 am on Sunday really got under my skin. The person continued until about 8:30 am and then turned the music off. I might have wanted to make the most of the day myself, but not by being forced out of deep sleep during my holiday.

Very welcoming environment. I really did not expect to receive a drink on my time of check-in, very surprising and also greatful of decorating for my wife birthday.
