Positive section of review
Beautiful Peranakan style rooms with a superb Penang style experience. The art, architecture, ambience and entire home felt like travelling in the past. It was vey well maintained, neat and clean, super friendly staff, comfortable beds and nice outdoor style shower. Its quite well kept up integrating with the old Malay style of homes. After long days out, it was super cozy and relaxing to come back to. Must stay....if you are in Penang. It has such a heritage feel...one must experience.

Stairs can be a little tight to Carry luggage up and down. But I guess the old style needs to be maintained.

beautiful place, traditional malay setting with wooden houses, clean well decorated rooms with adequate amenities. very good and tasty breakfast buffet selection . nicely landscaped gardens, clean white sandy beaches. Excellent staff.

Location is excellent next to hotel. Always nice to shop and then return back to hotel. Parking is convenient if you drive. Rooms are generally clean. Guards are polite and helpful.

You really should separate your buffet breakfast from the room charges. As someone who never eats the buffet breakfast, I really dont see why it is compulsory to pay for the buffet breakfast. Should be separate like all other hotels i visit. Your hotel is also way over priced although a good hotel. My room safe didnt work. Also the lamp on the table has consistently given me problems with the adjustments over the few times I have stayed. Gym needs more equipment to keep it refreshed. The check-in process really was too tedious and took too long despite all counters being open. Is there a way to review your check-in process as all information should already be given to you online?

Good size, comfy bed, spackous suite, great location friendly staff.

Dated and old suite. Toilet flush on both had to be repaired on the very day. But got done pretty quick by staff. Entire suite needs a reno. Few utilities non functional like power plugs, shutters, windows etc.
