Pisac, Peru
I had an amazing stay here! The community feeling is incredible everyone is so welcoming and it really feels like being part of a family. There are so many activities to join, from ceremonies and circles to the sweat lodge, which was a very powerful experience. I also loved the hike to the lagoon, it was absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of my trip. Perfect place if you’re looking for connection, nature, and something more meaningful than just a place to sleep.
Machu Picchu, Peru
We stayed there briefly for a night so we could go to Machu Picchu the next day. The staff met us at the train station and walked with us to the hotel (which takes like 4 minutes). They gave us breakfast to go since we had to leave super early and stored all our luggage while we were out. It looks like breakfast usually starts at 5am, which is good for early birds, and was buffet-style. Hotel looks modern and the shower was good.
Shower had curtains instead of a box and there was no place to put the shampoo.
Sahuayacu, Peru
We really enjoyed our stay during the Salkantay trek. We took the collectivo because we were soaked from the previous day. They provided space for us to dry all of our things and even lent us some shoes! The coffee tour was great and the food was delicious. We highly recommend staying here, it was just what we needed.
Puno, Peru
The guesthouse was very comfortable and the rooms were large. Breakfast was nice - eggs and bread with juice, tea, coffee. The location is ok, walkable to town or the bus stop. We were only staying a day and wanted to be close to the bus station.
Pisac, Peru
I really enjoyed the campfire nights, they were relaxed and a great way to share with others. The walk to the Pisac ruins was beautiful, and spending time by the river made it even more special. A very nice balance of community and nature.
Machu Picchu, Peru
Near trainstation, window with a city view, comfy bed, clean room, warm blankets, possibility to store our backpacks during the hike to Machu picchu. Nice bathrooms. Average breakfast was included.
In the city centre with bad sound isolation, small room, almost no leg space while sitting on the toilet for a woman. No elevator. There were other rooms with windows to the corridor so read carefuly what you get.
Cusco, Peru
Water was hot enough. Breakfast was served with bread, jam, avocado, tea and coffee. We could keep our luggage there the next day.
When we first arrived, they had no idea about our booking. They tried to put us in the wrong room with two beds while we had booked a deluxe queen room. After discussing they told us they didn't have the room and tried to make us accept the worse room. We had to bargain the price since it was late and we were just staying one day. The shower was supposed to be with a box but in this worse room it had the sticky curtains and the showerhead was skewed. The bathroom was super small and the whole room was humid after using it. Breakfast was in a super small room that's usually closed with a sign "don't enter". At night (8pm) the door is closed and I didn't see any doorbells. We had to knock and pray someone would come. The place is actually a tour agency and the door is very small in a street that has no sidewalk.
