Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, setting a positive tone for our stay. The room was exceptionally comfortable (with air conditioning), situated in a beautifully renovated hotel that retains the charm and style of its era. Although our time in Gothenburg was brief—we had just one day and needed to depart early for the ferry—the staff ensured our needs were met by providing a takeaway breakfast, for which we were truly grateful.

Friendly staff. The location is great.It is opposite of the ferry terminal. I find it very convenient for me to catch my early ferry to Gotland. Someone recommended that I try the smoked Northern shrimps from the fish shop at the harbour. It was yummy and delicious.

The location was quite good, the staff were friendly, and the facilities were sufficient. It’s ideal for a short stay. If you’re considering a longer stay, the room might feel a bit small.

Location is great, walking distance to all sites that a tourist could be interested in. Breakfast was nice, rooms are clean. We had very nice view towards the lake and historical boat.

Breakfast is served very late during the weekend, starting at 8h, which is very bad if you have a morning flight and you paid for breakfast already. Instead, on the day we got a breakfast box, which was embarrassingly poor compared to what is offered for regular breakfast, and minding the fact that we had to request the breakfast box 24h in advance. We were expecting at least something decent and not improvisation for the price. We were asked what we would prefer to get in the breakfast box, yet we got nothing that we asked for. Not a single thing. Very disappointing for 4☆ hotel, and for the price that we paid. Such bad detail "in the last moment" ruins otherwise very nice stay in this hotel.

Very beautiful hotel, spacious and clean rooms, good breakfast. Just outside of the entrance to the amusement park.
