Place is alright clean thats for sure(got woken up every day to have my bed made) Locality to me seems alright (but u will get warned by locals) personally i felt totally safe(just dont go out high and fancy) I loved my stay there. Breakfast was included water was not although (although claimed online it does) i had seen locals drink tap water. Owner did disconnected the wifi though when i was in common room using it and left until i asked another supervisor he pointed me to node and said someone disconnected it.(Speed is alright but gets congested when many connect to it, i lost a client because i couldnt rely on it for a remote job - i should have planned a plan b) Also I did got blamed for theft which was a bummer. But i really cant blame the property. I paid 6 usd. In taht price that clean there was no option so definitely worth it. And its 10kwacha bus ride from there to town from shockers(bus station)

The interior was clean and comfortable with nice deco. Enough outdoor space and quiet. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment. The bedrooms had extra beddings which is a plus. To top it off the place has a solar system and we did not have any problem with power. Great staff too. We loved our stay and definitely coming back 🙂

Location, laundry and cleaning services, equipments (though getting visibly old and used especially bed room A/C), shower, bed, daily towels, 24/7 power supply, available and serviable personnel, security, parking, pool. Big and spacious, good looking furniture and decorations (but getting old).

Generator 10m away from the bedroom window, very noisy all night, the bedroom A/C was VERY loud, vibrating so much we had to switch it off. Value for money has gone down since last stay (May 2025) or bad situated room. I recommend to take a room as close as possible to the middle or entry (there's a second generator at the entrance in the court which seems to work in the day vs. the one in the back at night. Wifi quality has clearly gone down. Almost no reception in the living room.

Our 3rd stay in 2 weeks. Breakfast by the pond with fish and crocodiles (4).

This time, restaurant staff were not so attentive, wrong wine, red not white. Coffees for breakfast had to be reordered.

Fridge door did not close, therefore it did not work well. Although paid for and included in booking, was not offered breakfast once. Towels were not changed or unit cleaned once during stay. Wifi was very unstable. But for the price one can not expect 3 star luxury.
