“The cottages were super cute. Location was great as it was close to the centre and walkable to many restaurants and supermarket. Parking was available right beside our cottage so was very secure. The traditional breakfast was quite good - nothing extraordinary but good for Costa Rican standards. The place was also located next to the sloth park. The rooms were big and clean.”
“Cute hostel near to the centre of La Fortuna. Decent kitchen and around the corner from a big supermarket. Really nice terrace upstairs to chill. Beds have curtains and bathroom in the dorm. Nice staff - thanks Aron, Margarita and Claudia for all the help during my stay.”
“We stayed at Bungalow 2, it has an amazing view to the volcano. A very spacious room with parking space right outside the door. Very clean, it offers daily cleaning service. Very friendly personnel, they made arrangements to have breakfast in the room despite leaving really early in the morning. Comfortable bed, peaceful and quite environment, right in the heart of nature. We saw squirrels, hummingbirds, frogs, right outside the room. We definitely recommend staying there.”
“We stayed for 5 nights in Fortuna retreat and we enjoyed our stay very much. The view from the balcony on the Arenal Vulcano was absolutely stunning. We even had dinner early just to be on time for the sunset on the balcony.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. We booked an activity directly through the hotel which made things a lot easier.
The breakfast was located in the hotel next door and was very good. It’s definitely worth taking a stroll through the garden/jungle of the hotel where the breakfast is located, which has also a butterfly oasis which hotel guests can access for free and it’s pretty amazing. It was also possible to book the breakfast to go, which we took advantage of a few times to leave early for some trips.”
“Perfect stopover for stay in La Fortuna. Comfortable & well sized rooms. Hotel tucked away at top of town but easy walkable distance into town & restaurants.
Breakfast infront of Arenol volcano with the best French toast (to die for!). Short drive to mistico park, the waterfall, hot springs (we went to the one used by locals, laureles - so much cheaper but just as good) & local sloth tour just outside town.
Very happy with our stay here & good value for money.”
