“Beautiful jungle setting right across the street from the beach. We saw lots of Howler monkeys , they had a great breakfast, the beds were very comfortable, the staff was amazing, and my son loved the pool. Great hotel!”
“Namu hotel was beautiful, peaceful and a great place to unwind. The room was large and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and staff were really friendly”
“We stayed for a week in Exotico and enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone was super nice and the premises are really something else. Within 3 minutes you are at the beach and the pool in the hotel is very nice too. The breakfast was also very good.”
“The bungalow was definitely the best accommodation of our trip to Costa Rica. It was large, had a proper kitchen, and a great outdoor area with a dining table and hammock from which you could watch and listen to the hustle and bustle in the garden, or should I say “jungle.” Due to the agoutis that apparently live there, the macaws in the trees next door, the monkeys and iguanas, and the howler monkeys that can always be heard, a visit to a national park was hardly necessary. We already miss our morning coffee on the terrace. The path to Playa Chicita, which was criticized in some of the comments, is perfectly fine, but I would recommend other beaches (Punta Uva) anyway.”
“Location on the beach is stunning. The staff worked soooooo hard and long hours to keep everyone happy and served. It's a 20 minute walk into the town along the road or beach and tuk tul taxis are widely available. The balcony's in thw ocean rooms are great spacious with hammocks to take in the view.”
“Super clean, comfortable accommodation, we booked the room with air conditioner which was needed. Walking distance from the town. We initially booked three nights but were able to extend our stay by one more night thanks to the hosts’ flexibility and great communication. They also provided helpful local recommendations. The first night’s payment is required in advance. The shared kitchen with filtered water and fridge is available from 7:30 AM until the evening.”
“La Tica y La Gata was a lovely hotel- the room was big, clean and comfortable and the attached kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to cook a simple meal. Stella, the owner, had plenty of recommendations and was super accommodating with storing our luggage after we’d checked out. We’d definitely stay here again!”
