Where should we start? The stay was perfect in every way. The family atmosphere, the very warm welcome, the extremely friendly host family, the many animals, the guided tours of the garden, the delicious breakfast. Thank you very much for everything, we felt very welcome.

There is nothing to complain about.

Lovely place in a perfect location for accessing Tenorio park, etc. Incredibly kind family runs the B&B. Melissa was so helpful in answering questions and helping with travel plans, breakfast was delicious, and Angie was an unexpected gem giving us tours of the amazing property and all the wildlife (night and day). We would 100% recommend and hope to visit again someday!

Not a thing!

This place is magical - surrounded by forest, nature and animals. Toucans visiting for breakfast and howler monkeys which you can watch from your private terrace. Melissa and her staff were extremely welcoming, showing us sloth nearby in the trees and spoiling us with delicious breakfast! It was so nice and relaxing to listen to the birds and enjoy the breeze in the trees! Would recommend 100% and come back for sure!

Few ants in the kitchen (spray was provided which solved the problem). You are staying surrounded by nature so that is to expect. Any minor issue was dealt with immediately! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Agutipaca Bungalows. We saw more wildlife here right on the property than anywhere else. Thank you Flori for the tasty breakfasts. And thanks again to Angie for showing us the mama and baby sloths.

Quiet and peaceful location outside of town but quick 5 minute drive to restaurants and cafes. Delicious fresh breakfast in the morning. We wished we could’ve stayed longer than 1 night!

I had some trouble with the shower.

It was the best stay (sofar) on my costa rica holiday. I was really blown away. Super nice Bungalow, with all you need: comfy bed, coach, kitchen and great terasse with hammocks. Lovely and cosy. The breakfast was very good and Angie who is working there showed me a lot of birds and sloths The tour about the plants groeing at their property was also great. The weather was not great but I enjoyed bird watching directly from my terasse

The only thing I missed is something to hang the wet clothes to dry out :)

The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very cosy, modern and clean. The location is very beautiful, in the middle of a forest. Every morning we got delicious home-made breakfast.

The hotel had renovation work ongoing when we were there. There were construction workers on our balcony which was a bit disturbing our privacy. It would have been good to know about it before.

We loved our Aguticapa stay and would have stayed longer had we known how well located it was for Volcan Tenorio park (Rio Celeste), and an organic cocoa plantation (Tree Chocolate) that gave us a truly memorable tour miles from the ubiquitous tourist traps in the area. The bungalow itself was large, beautiful and very comfortable, with everything you can think of, including a small kitchenette. It is part of a small, family-run complex surrounded by lush vegetation, terraces and even a small swiming pool. The breakfast, included in the price, was delicious and served in our room. The area is rural, set in gorgeous mountains, though there is a large, well stocked supermarket within a 15-minute drive. To note that a car is a must (we did fine without a 4x4 as Aguticapa is on a paved road).

The property landscaping and room were amazing! It was very peaceful to watch the different birds fly past our window and the family even gave us a tour around their property where there was a sloth! Cute dogs around as well

Lovely spacious bungalow. Location not far from town and amenities and pool was small but perfect for cooling off when needed. Great trail along the river for a nature hike and breakfast was simply amazing!! Would definitely stay here again.
