Gorgeous location hidden within the jungle and by the river.

The underside of your car will scrape against the road exiting due to uneven ramp, too steep.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! I can’t recommend a place more, the location is beautiful and the staff are all amazing. they are super helpful with recommendations and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can possibly be.

A bit far from major tourist activities around La Fortuna.

Special location with a delightful pool area with a small stream burbuling alongside. Very friendly and easy-going hosts. Nuevo Arenal just a couple of minutes away by car.

Being greeted by our charming host with a parrot on his shoulder, the beautiful grounds and flowers, including a running stream, wonderful setting for breakfast on the balcony, fresh fruit for breakfast, the lovely decor in our room.

I cannot think of anything I did not like.

Comfortable and quiet, a total get away Lovely owners Trent and Javier who were incredibly helpful organising taxis and giving great advice where to eat The breakfast was fabulous and the rooms immaculate Also the have to mention the two lovely dogs and Peppa the Parrot who visits to say hello when she feels like it 😍

This is by no means a criticism but you definitely will need a car as the inn is not within walking distance of shops attractions etc We hired a car which wasn’t a problem

We had a wonderful stay at Agua Inn! The location is stunning, tucked away in the jungle. The ambient sound of the flowing river next to the property added to the charm and relaxation. The included breakfast prepared by the lovely Adela was phenomenal and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Do not hesitate to book your stay here to experience true Costa Rican hospitality!

this was one of the most incredible stays we've had in all of our travels. pictures don't do this place justice, you have to stay there to fully experience the serenity of falling asleep to the river each night and waking up to breakfast with the birds. Javier, Israel, and Adela are some of the kindest souls you could ever meet. Pepa (the bird) and Feo and Kila (the dogs) are the cherry on top of it all. there aren't many places we go that we immediately talk about coming back to, but this is definitely one of them. we felt close enough to the things we wanted to do (a hour to mistico, rio celeste, la fortuna) without being in an area that felt super touristy. the town of nuevo arenal itself has wonderful food options.

Agua Inn is such a lovely place. The decor was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful.

We found that there are two La Fortunas in Costa Rica. That placed us an hour away from our arranged tour, meaning we had to leave very early to get to the other La Fortuna.

The breakfast was delicious both mornings. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the planning of our day. The house was incredible and very quiet setting with lush trees and many birds. The river is very serene. Loved the 2 dogs. They are so sweet

Absolutely gorgeous, well equipped- and the inn keeper Javier was the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. We only wish we could stay longer.

Absolutely breathtaking location. A location that can only be described as a flat-out jungle setting. Very welcoming hosts. Very good breakfast.
