Breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about.

The location/setting with the gardens, we felt like in a small own national park with plenty of animals to watch around. The spacious room with security code locks and sitting area with views. Vicinity of good restaurants in walking distance. Three swimmingpools to chose from. Good Wifi throughout. Despite breakfast, especially the restaurant area being slightly disappointing, the offer is still a good value for money one.

    all good

The location of the hotel. It is near of everything. I had a small situation with the first room they gave me but they fix it really quickly and actually relocate me on another bigger room. Breakfast was good too.

When I did the reservation weeks ago, I asked for a quiet room and got one very close to street, pretty noisy. The two guys at front desk in general not very helpful and polite. The worst breakfast I ever had in a hotel of this level, just a few prefixed options to choose from which came in poor quality and extreme small portions, coffee - in a coffeeland - poor quality too. Talking to one of the nice girls at breakfast service, indirectly they confirmed that owners of hotel dont care about service, wellbeing and quality at all. Something you feel allover the place, lot of potential to improve……

The Setting of the Hotel within nature and lots of animals to observe, great yoga classes with Mike and Betsa and Karen (Sound Journey), really nice yogadeck

The hotel is huge, with three swimming pools, huge green areas and it's so easy to see monkeys, iguanas, lizards, birds and capybaras. It almost makes a visit to the national park unnecessary. The hotel is undergoing renovations and, although I had booked a room without a private bathroom, I was given one with a private one, which we loved, of course, and we can only thank our luck. Perhaps they've simply done away with this type of room recently. However, you could tell that the renovations were recent and clumsy, as there were remnants of paint on the windows and even in the rubbish bin in the bathroom. Another less positive point is the lack of atmosphere - with so many swimming pools, there are two bars in the main one that are fully equipped and closed. All it would take is human resources and some ambient music and everything would be so much better. Curiously, during Friday and Saturday there were no events of any kind... but on Sunday at 7am they had live music during breakfast. It doesn't make sense. Overall, the stay was very good, it served our purpose perfectly, the location is excellent. It has the potential to be much better, because the structures are all there, what's missing is efficient management and an entrepreneurial spirit on the part of the new owners.

Overall, the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. It would also have been helpful to receive prior notice about unavailable facilities, such as the yoga sessions, rooftop bar, and potential disruptions from renovation work during our stay.

We spent a few nights at this hotel, and overall, it was decent. There was some renovation work happening during our stay, so it could be a bit noisy at times. I imagine the newly renovated rooms would be of a higher standard than the one we stayed in. Our room was fairly basic and could have been cleaned better, particularly around the main bed area, with a bit more attention to dusting. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There’s a nice yoga shala on-site, though unfortunately, no sessions were running during our stay. Still, it was a peaceful space to relax. The rooftop bar was also under maintenance, so we weren't able to enjoy that experience either. Great location, 5-10 minute walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Did not stay long enough to pick out any faults

    - Lovely stay here during a visit to Manuel Antonio. The room had a very nice rustic feel to it with a nice comfortable bed. - The staff were really helpful. We were only here for one night so as we checked out in the morning to visit Manuel Antonio national park, they let us leave our bags after check out to collect on return. Finished earlier than expected at the national park but had a few hours before our transfer to Uvita, yet they were happy for us to use the pool and facilities while we waited. - The highlight here is sitting around the pool! We had parrots flying overhead, Toucan's landing in bushes next to us, iguanas and agoutis wandering around, plus deer just over the hotel wall.

Parts of the hotel are under renovation - sometimes very loud. There are a lot of steps to go - nothing for elderly people.

Nice hotel but actually under renovation. Our room was really small but clean and already renovated - little dark during the day but had a really good lights in the evening. Good location for the Manuel Antonio national parc trip or a sundowner on the beach. There are many restaurants nearby with an ocean view. The rooftop bar just opened. After the renovation it could be a nice spot!

There were stairs everywhere. The layout of the property is part of the ambiance but it would not be suitable for someone with a walking disability.

The property was beautiful and I loved seeing all the wildlife. The pools were clean pool chairs were clean and well maintained. The made to order breakfast was was fantastic.

Breakfast service is a bit slow -- we didn't anticipate this so it can get quite stressful if you booked activities at specific times afterwards.

Lovely hotel, conveniently located at the bus stop so you can park your car when you arrive and move around only by bus, which is recommended if you plan on visiting the nearby beaches or the Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio. The breakfast is nice, even though service can be a bit slow, so make sure you're not on a tight schedule. We even participated in a free salsa class, very unexpected but super relaxed and friendly! The room has all it needs :)

No! It was a lovely stay. The hotel is clearly undergoing some updating.

We had a wonderful secluded Cottage just by one of the 3 pools. Lots of wildlife in the grounds, which were beautifully maintained. The staff were very polite, professional and helpful. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast was tasty. We were told this hotel had recently changed hands; we would definitely recommend it. It was great value.

Unfortunately the first room we were shown to smelt very damp and was full of condensation however we asked to swap rooms and the man on the desk had no issues swapping us to an upgraded room immediately which we were grateful for. Lots of stairs to access the hotel and rooms so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Found the breakfast set up at roots a little bit odd - it seemed like the ordering and getting drinks process changed everyday, also paying $4 for two extra slices of toast seemed a bit steep.

The room we ended up in was clean and spacious. Nice to have the option of different pools which were really nice and we had to ourselves pretty much all day everyday. Great location just opposite the bus stop and close to a grocery store and restaurants. Short drive to national park and beach.

Breakfast service is slow - if you have some planned activities afterwards, plan to bo there well in advance. You can’t open the windows in the room and it gets really humid inside - specially if you have wet towels from the beach or wet clothes from the rain shower. Also the “cosy” type of the room is small for two people - it’s in line with the description, nothing wrong, but you feel really cramped inside, without the space to place your luggage. The room gets even smaller thanks to the huge wooden bed frame (much larger than the mattress) that you will bump into at least theee times a day. :) Also, they could place some more sunbeds by the pool.

Delicious breakfast, two beautiful pools and nice architecture with small units dispersed around. We got a room near to the forest and we were able to see a lot of animals (monkeys, anteater, kinkajou, toucan, hummingbirds, iguanas, agoutis, etc.) from the porch next to the room. There is a store nearby and a bus station just in front of the hotel.

Too many steps, very small room, no bedside tables to put water on. Bathrooms also need renovation. Cold and tasteless coffee

We drove 6 hours from the Caribbean coast and needed somewhere to spend the night before continuing our journey. This hotel is suitable for a one-night stop. There is air conditioning. They helped us bring our suitcases to the room, which was good because the hotel is located at the top and to get to the room you need to overcome many steps up and down.

The room was bigger than I expected as the description indicated it was going to be a very small room with a bed and bathroom. However each room has a small balcony with chairs and a great view to the jungle, the interior is also very spacious and cozy, well illuminated and the bathroom has a great size too. The pools were always clean, and the breakfast options were delicious. Bonus points for having vegan options!

It was a little pricey, but I was happy paying for the experience!

I have no complaints about the property. It is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by trees and wildlife. They upgraded my room without me asking which was lovely. The breakfast was incredible. There are multiple pools, they are so nice and lots of places to sit around them. The staff were incredible and so helpful. The room its self was very luxurious, comfy bed, air con, and I had a patio table and hanging chair. Only a 15 minute walk from the beach or a bus stop right outside the hotel. Would definitely come back

The room was very basic. There weren't any english-speaking channels on the TV. When we asked for extra coffee for the room, we were told we would have to pay for it. One of the new staff members was very inflexible.

It has three swimming pools, all of which are big enough to do laps in. We had a great view from our room where we were able to see wild monkeys and other interesting wildlife, including some great lizards. It's within walking distance to the beach if you don't mind walking down, then up hills. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a lovely view.

Worst place I’ve been to in years. An absolute scam. The rooms were essentially storage areas that had been awkwardly converted – they were clearly never designed to be hotel rooms. The interiors were dreadful, with everything poorly built or dodgily adapted. Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from the other rooms. On top of that, it was massively overpriced for what you get. The staff were very poor, and the breakfast was below basic

    Nothing !
