We thought that each room would benefit from a small cooking area especially for rainy days when you can't really go outside and explore around the area, which happened to us.

The view was great due to it's location. We really liked the theme of the property. The staff are very friendly and accomodating.

It's just amazing. The view is beautiful. Everyone there is always willing to help out. The room was equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. There are several spots where you can watch the sunset and the best part were definitely the dogs and cats that are around the property

The tent was quite cold. There was a little fireplace-like heater and a second space heater, but it was still uncomfortably cold. I guess I should have expected that from the tent. It also would have been helpful to have breakfast start before 7:30 since we had 8:00 reservations at Volcan Poas.

The tent was neat. It’s also a fascinating property with great mountain views. Each building has interesting angles and windows. It made me wonder if the owner was an architect who uses the property as a playground for trying out new ideas.

The property was a special and quirky retreat. Art, flowers, whimsy, a donkey, and an evening campfire. Comfortable and nicely decorated room. A hot breakfast included.

The room was comfortable and spacious. Ideal for visiting the Poas Volcano - only a few minutes up the road. A couple of really good restaurants nearby.

We stayed at this place during a cold, windy storm. It was only 12°C outside when we arrived, and the room wasn't heated. There was a draft from the bathroom windows, and the hot water was inconsistent, so we couldn't take a warm shower.

The hotel room was spacious, and there was a heater available. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very nice and attentive. I guess the location must be wonderful with good weather conditions.

If you don't have a car, you might have trouble. There is no grocery store within walking distance, only a few restaurants that close early in the evening. Walking back to the hotel from the restaurants along the winding road in the dark is dangerous. I asked the staff about hikes from the hotel, but their only suggestions were a very short one (a few hundred meters) on the property, and another one by an adjacent field that turned out to consist of walking down a hill through cow dung. A small complaint about the shower in the room: it is angled too far inward, so you have to stand close to the wall and you keep bumping up against the shower knobs.

Charming hotel way out by some fields near Poasito. The views are superb and you feel like you are on a farm. There are cows nearby, a donkey, two shaggy dogs, and at least one cat. The staff are helpful and a nice breakfast is included.

We booked the 2 tents. They were unique, clean and comfortable. We went during the rainy season so some of the views were blocked by clouds, but still beautiful! The rain on the tent was loud but also a very cool experience. Breakfast was delicious.

We followed directions on Waze and got lost then a flat tire and we arrived very late. Staff seemed annoyed at us for arriving so late.

The hotel is located 7 minutes from the entrance to the nature reserve (Nacional Volcán Poás) so when we landed in San Jose we drove straight to it from the airport. The place is very quiet and the room was very nicely decorated! Unfortunately we stayed at this hotel only one night.

Beautiful place with a wonderful view. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Even when we had issues with our rented car Oscar, the receptionist was extremely helpful!!! Highly recommend place.
