Everything was lovely, missed having a full length mirror in the dome. Pillows did have a damp smell

Property is magical, our kids loved exploring the grounds finding a donkey, feeding chickens and petting the dogs and cats

The volcano was putting out a powerfully sulphuric smell we couldn't really escape from

The room was beautiful, with great viewpoints on the property. Breakfast was also really good. There's a really good Mexican restaurant up the street that kept us fed during the day and night.

This place is like Alice in wonderland. We stayed in one of the "tents" but they were amazing domes with a window wall and soaking tub. Breakfast was terrific too.

We didn’t have WiFi but that was driven by an outage of the internet provider.

I really like the cozy environment. If you want to have a full experience of Costa Rica and connect with the nature this is your place. Also is 10min of distance from Poas Volcano.

We liked the location. This hotel is located in the middle of the mountains with nice views to the valley with lot of nature around. Breakfast building is very cozy. Facilities in good condition, clean and fully comfortable. Close to Poás volcano, waterfalls and so many other attractions.

The layout of the rooms can take some getting used to given that they are on the mountainside. Depending on which room you are in, moving around from one level to the next can take some getting used to, but the tradeoff for the location is worth it.

The location of our room on the mountainside was perfect, and we loved looking over the valley at sunset the day we arrived.

Some furniture was outdated - couches could be replaced. The bed is rather short for people taller than 1.85cm. Shower temperature was not the easiest to regulate.

Cute hotel and surroundings. Great views and a short drive to Poas Volcano. Great option to visit the National Park. A car is needed. Nice breakfast included. Fridge & eating table in the room. Helpful staff, flexible to accommodate changes on my travel plans. They have different types of accommodations, I stayed in dome-tent. Cool concept with a big tub and forest views. Booked the standard dome and ended up staying in the master dome after paying the difference.

The beds were a little hard. We drove past the entrance, hard to see in the dark. It took an extra 45 min to drive down the skinny road and get back up to the entrance.

This was such a cute little hotel. Everything was unique and had a lot of love in it. The breakfast was home cooked in the kitchen and delicious.

Niggling plumbing issues frayed our nerves a bit and generated headaches for staff but they worked valiantly to give us a super experience otherwise.

Excellent breakfast individually prepared with lots of fruit, juice and coffee. The breakfast venue was really a beauty as well. The uniqueness of the property was wonderful. Each unit was custom-designed and built giving every room a unique and special feel. There were containers, domes, chalet suites and more traditional but charmingly designed rooms in their biggest building. Viewing platforms are scattered throughout the property and their lounge was an eclectically furnished but wonderfully scenic spot to enjoy conversation and just simple peace and quiet. The remoteness from the road provided peaceful surroundings to enjoy the utterly spectacular views of the valley and to hear the surrounding farm animals, birds and wildlife. This property is just charming!

We did not get the hotel's directions until too late, and consequently came up the old road which was so steep our hired car barely made it. The hotel needs to send these directions the day before! Also, the hotel doesn't serve dinner so you have to drive out for this.

Comfortable room in a beautiful rural setting, with stunning views over the central valley. We wished we had stayed more than one night.

In the "domes", heaters are needed, and they are a bit noisy.

Amazing "domos" (rooms in the form of spheric "bubbles") with wide windows with views into the surrounding forest. The complex is very well taken care of, and the Costarican breakfast they serve is just great, in a very nice environment (overlooking the garden and the meadows).

Entry exit was a little dicey and the wind was exceptionally loud at night. One of the beds was only accessible up a ladder. Was not a problem for our group, but could potentially. Shower had entire bathroom pretty wet.

Host was very welcoming and gave good recommendations. The room had plenty of space and was very comfortable. The location was excellent, with great views overlooking San José. Breakfast was simple but delicious and made fresh.

The shower size and hot water were excellent, but the shower floor was very slippery. We’d suggest adding a mat or non-skid stickers. Also the breakfast was very disappointing. We fortunately had our own jam since there was none and there were no strawberries in the fruit. And with all the local strawberries we saw!

Beautiful location, spacious rooms and good lighting. Lovely sunny dining area in the apartment. Love the eclectic assortment of plays to stay. The grounds and the views were incredible. The staff was very helpful, especially in getting us last minute reservations for Poas Volcano Park. Very quiet and fun to watch the dairy cows next door.
