Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Since some reviews mentioned it, I can imagine you might be able to hear the other rooms, but since the hotel was not that booked, we haven't had any problems.
The owner was giving us some good tips for going out. When we left she organised us a nice driver after we had technical problems with uber.

Bathroom & toilet could have been a little cleaner.

The hotel is a lot more dated than the photos. It has a lot of potential if it was redecorated.
Great location - about a 10 minute walk from the town centre / attractions. Wifi worked well. Staff were really nice to us. Really great restaurants across the street.

The name has changed from Hotel Inca Real to Amon Real, which made it a little bit stressful at the airport as the taxi driver didn't know where it was. It comes up on Google,maps under Amon Real though.
Felt very safe here. There was 24 hour reception and the guy came outside to chat with me every time I went to smoke, which was appreciated and didn't feel overbearing. Very cool patio style building with lots of plants.

Ground floor room was a little noisy as next to lobby. No external windows to room. Few facilities.
Good location: near centre and bus station but quiet. Nice character building with pleasant lobby. Spacious bedroom. Good shower

**If you are traveling with kids or want some peace, read this** This is without a doubt, the worst experience I had staying on a place. Let me try to recap this because is a lot of sh17. -The parking: it was all an entire nightmare, when I arrived, first thing I did was request access to the parking lot, for what I received the first red flag “you can open and leave your vehicle in the parking lot once, so, if you are not ready, leave it outside, nothing going to happen”well, I said alright. I left the car in front and suddenly, I had to jump out of the shower and run outside because my wife told me that police was about to pick up the car. If I was not enough upset at that point, it turned out that when they saw my car just said “that car cannot fit in our parking slot, is too big” it is a Nissan Frontier, literally like half the cars on the world size. For that unexpected situation, I had to park my car on a parking lot turning the corner and PAY, yes PAY for a parking place because of their random and not confirmed parking place issue. Well, money was not the real deal here, the struggle was that I was visiting with my family, a kiddo and a baby, so can you imagine going outside, in the city in a place we don’t know in the middle of the night with a kiddo and a baby? We had to return from dinner quickly because we didn’t want to walk so late with our children a block on a dangerous place. Don’t even necessary to mention that our 3 months baby could get a cold from walking in the street in the night. -The location: Guys, you need to be considered and transparent, you need to specify that this is NOT a place to go with a family, instead of showing family rooms on booking. This is insane, dangerous and not ethical at all. Just to let you know that within 200m radius there were; a brothel, a Casino and a lot of escorts on the surroundings and 2 different club with a tremendous party and a lot of street people looking to earn something. Party ended 4 am 😭
Nothing to add here honestly, they were kind is maybe the only thing positive.

In desperate need of some upgrading. Very old and tired. Bathroom a disaster - 'shower' wasnt a shower it was a direct explosion of cold water. Lamp with no plug left beside bed. Carpet very old and stale. I only booked at last minute arriving from airport late at night.
Comfortable bed, clean sheets, staff were friendly.
