The sink in our bathroom wasn’t fixated correctly to the wall and the hose behind it kept unplugging which caused floods in the room. The equipment of the kitchen changed depending on the day, one day you could fry your vegetables and the next day the fryer was gone and you had to do it with the rice cooker.

The owner is very easy to contact via WhatsApp, easy access, great communication throughout our stay. Location is fine, close to the center. AC appreciated even though a bit noisy.

Photos with room absolutely do not match, and way of entering and unfriendly / rude behavior of owner and putting priorities somewhere else than with customers if you have questions has ensured that I left almost immediately after receipt and looked for accommodation elsewhere in the city. also after my departure no more answers or steps to take anywhere. So do not call here but elsewhere in the city, you will absolutely not regret not having to spend the night here!

They offer some other services but never told me about other options for my room (fridge, coffee maker, microwave, etc) The lock in the door was broken(open/close very difficult) Toillet paper practically nule Cable tv simply horrible The entry is practically over the street, there is no curve or pavement To enter to this property you must open a "padlock" with no space and basically hanging from the gate I entered in the website that I traveled with my little kid 10 y/o, but when I arrived they know nothing about my son even do, the lady who gives me assistance via WhatsApp told me my son's stay will be for free, but I was 100% sure I have entered the info... The "neighborhood" where is located looks kind of dangerous at night, and dirty with daylight...

We arrived at the property at 6pm in the dark with our bags after traveling for 11 hours- we were met at the gate by staff who said they didn’t have a room for us (despite us having a confirmed reservation) and we were not allowed to enter the property. The staff were rude and unhelpful and left us in a difficult situation without a room for the night. We have never experienced anything like this in our many years of travelling.

See above. I booked through booking.com and this site gives wrong information that made both the staff and I confused. Booking said that as soon as I booked, I would be charged half of the cost which was not true and it created a lot of confusion. It was not the staff or property's fault. They want full payment upon checking in. I hope booking corrects.

The neighborhood seemed sort of scary but the staff told me it was safe and I asked a tourist couple who passed by about safety and they said it was okay. But when I went to the corner market (Pali) the armed security guard told me that it is a dangerous neighborhood and I needed to get a taxi otherwise I would get shot! So I took the taxi for the two blocks! The mattress in my room was the most and I mean the most uncomfortable thing I had ever slept on. I would have rather slept on the floor than that bed. It was thin and had springs pocking into my body no matter how I positioned myself. Positive points: Very nice staff; air conditioning; semi warm water for shower (unusual in CR) and TV that worked, also you could get to market and a nice chicken restaurant within walking distance. I think overall it was okay but until they change the mattress I would not book with them again.

We were seriously mislead by the photos of the so-called apartment and ended up paying more to get what we had thought we had booked. Also the shared kitchen is a dump and the place is poorly maintained.

About the only thing we liked about the place was it’s location in a residential area, where it was fairly quiet and we could see how the locals lived.

We reserved two separate one bedroom rooms. They however didn’t give us the rooms we reserved and tried to put us in a three bed room. We are volunteers and our company won’t let girls and guys stay in the same room. Due to them giving our rooms away and giving us the wrong reservation we had to find a different hotel last minute. The staff was very rude and didn’t help with the situation. They immediately kicked us off the property and were very unapologetic when we showed them the confirmation of what we booked. They said we either had to take the room we didn’t book or leave.

Some rooms have no window and it's as if you were in the basement. The "kitchen" the same: under the stairway.
