We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. We especially appreciated the pool and the walking distance to a beautiful beach in the national park. We loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay by a few more days. Highly recommended!

Location is excellent, right up the road from the entrance to the National Park, and decent restaurant options are also within walking distance. Cabins are fantastic and now all appear to have air conditioning in the bedroom areas, which is a nice bonus. Pool is refreshing for a morning or afternoon swim, and Staff are accommodating, and very laid back. This was our second time here, and we'll hopefully be back for a third.

A short walk to the beach and to bars and restaurants. We had air-conditioning in the bedroom, which we weren't expecting! They have a laundry service, which we badly needed. Nice pool and laid-back vibe in the area.

Lovely spot with your own cabin, 3 minutes from the beach! Beautiful for a little getaway - staff are incredibly accommodating as well. Comfy beds!

There really isn’t anything I didn’t like. I enjoyed staying here.

It’s a cute quaint place to stay. It’s minimal, somewhat like glamping, but the grounds are beautiful, the cabins have what you need for small meals and to keep your food (fridge). The shower in the cabin is not “hot” water, but felt perfect for the humid atmosphere of the area. They do provide hot showers as well near reception if that’s what you need. We needed laundry done while we were here and they accommodated that with an extra charge and we were very thankful for the service. It is close to the beach and there are some eateries near by as well within walking distance. The pool was very refreshing after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. The staff is very friendly. I would 100% stay here again if I was in the area.

Drive from San Jose was too slow.a closer airport with better international access or more lanes on the highways near San Jose would have helped..stuck behind big trucks in San Jose cost us hours if travel time

While it might’ve been nice to have a hot shower in the cabin, there are two hot water showers right on site and the cold water shower was actually refreshing!

I plan to stay just one night at Arboura Eco cabins, but I fell in love with nearly everything about it and extended my stay two more nights. So close to the beach, and nestled in a community with restaurants and a store nearby, all walkable. 👍

Uvita is HOT it was hard to cool off during the day. Thankfully they had a fan in the room. -the pillows were very uncomfortable- I slept on a rolled up towel

The property is beautiful, well laid out. The cabins are simple yet has absolutely all that is needed (including coffee). The 2 people on staff are very helpful and kind, they are fluently in at least 2 languages

Incredible location, so much care and details, beautiful pool and cabines, good beds, excellent kitchens. The whole compound is just inviting and familiar and relaxing.

Decent walk to big supermarket but not a major issue.

Charming bungalow, great location right near the beach. Swimming pool and table tennis were a great touch. Kitchen was well equipped and warm shower was amazing but cool showers also refreshing.

Not much to dislike. I imagine in the busy season noise from guest could be an issue. We were in a cabin above #7 and the guest below kept late hours and was quite loud with pots and pans at weird hours. Fans helped but ceiling fans or more fans would help with the high heat. The pool was clean and the hot shower worked sometimes but it did not matter. Our expectations were low so we were pleasantly surprised at the operation and our choice. If I went back I would probably check out the cost of the cabins with ac. I never thought about it when booking. For a real Pura Vida experience this was a great place!

What you can’t understand is the immersion into wildlife. Loved the Howlers waking us up, the Toucans and Macaws and lots of other wildlife and flora. Mangoes dropping at night were a scare, but we came wanting the experience and got it here. The access to the beach was perfect. Ovi, was very accommodating to help arrange a horseback ride and was always available for questions.

Comfort of beds can be better. One matress was wet (leakage of roof). Drain of shower did hardly function.

Lovely place, simple but good lodges with mosquito screens and fan. Fine swimmingpool for a fresh dip. Close by the beautiful beach. Cascades nearby.

In one of the bungalows, there was no shower head, only a hose.

Units were a little closer together than some of the places we stayed, likely because Uvita is bigger than some of those places. Lovely none the less.

Great location that is easy to access by car, lots of great sodas nearby and only a short walk to the beach. Well laid out space, it was fun to have an upstairs bedroom in the A-Frame unit.

Beautiful eco cabins set in a pretty garden a very short walk to the beach (which is a national park). Nata and co were lovely and made us very welcome. Everywhere was super clean. WiFi great. There was free coffee, oil and salt, and a little kitchen stove to cook on. There is a communal hot shower if you prefer. We had a lovely trip and would definitely stay again

Pura vida litteraly!! The cabins are surrounded by vegetation of all sort. They are really eco and let you feel as if you are sleeping in the jungle but very comfi! We have really enjoyed the pool, the ping pong table, breakfast and wake ups hearing the morning birds.

The location was great. Very close to the beach and a few restaurants. The staff was wonderful as well. Very helpful. And a pool!. The birds in the morning are amazing
