Nothing really. The sushi restaurant wasn’t great value for money - it would be good to have one more restaurant on site.

We stayed in a Chato suite with its own pool which was fabulous. Super clean. Staff incredibly helpful. Lots of brilliant activities.

While the food was mainly very good in the main restaurant, there were a couple of dishes that were possibly trying too hard and did not necessarily work (this is, of course, a very individual point of view & should not put you off staying at this great resort)

Loved this resort, especially since we stayed in a Chato suite, which I would highly recommend. All staff were helpful & pleasant. Great hot springs, sushi bar, and location to reach various destinations for days out, etc. Integrated very well into the environment with lots of planting resulting in seeing wildlife on your doorstep (birds, especially toucans & hummingbirds, great crested basilisk, raccoons).

While things are quite good we still felt it was quite expensive for a 4 star place. But that’s everyone’s choice.

It’s a great place for your trip to Fortuna. The facilities are fantastic and the concept with driving to your bungalow works well. The pool is nice and the hot pools really relaxing. Food and device is top!

Great location, gorgeous property, amazing room, super kind staff and housekeeping. Everyone was so attentive, we had a little plumbing issue and they not only fixed it but sent us a small dessert tray as an apology. The hot spring areas are beautiful and not crowded, the breakfast is very nice as well. Everyone is super helpful- I would highly recommend!

It’s a beautiful property. The activities are 20 minutes from the resort. You feel very safe with the family. We did many tours. The key da really enjoyed the cooking tour on our relaxation day. The resorts works constantly to maintain the resort. The staff is perfect. We tried to stay a forth night and it was booked solid.

The only thing was that food & drinks were expensive, but we understand, as you are keeping up with market.

We loved the grounds on property, very well kept, we saw so many types of birds, iguanas, butterflies, etc. Also loved breakfasts every morning. The stafff was so attentive & friendly, all very hardworking. Anytime we called the office, the clerks were fast to answer & we got the shuttle quick, the few times we used it.

The restaurants are pricy for what they offer but the food is good and its convenient to eat there.

The property is very nice and we especially liked the property hot springs and pools which are secluded and provide privacy if you want it. There are many of them and so everyone can enjoy them. The staff is very nice. Happy hour is great.

Gorgeous grounds, each room in an individual area, unobstructed views of the volcano. Rooms were clean, a little dated but spacious and comfortable. The pools were not overcrowded.

Feels like you leave a bit of "real" Fortuna behind to live in a fully American community. A very pleasant, calming place to relax between Arenal adventures, though.

Lots of privacy in our room, pleasant walks to various facilities, never felt overcrowded even though I gather it was fully booked this week. Really great breakfasts.

The bathroom door doesn’t close or lock, no privacy. It opens every time someone opens the front door. The phone reception doesn’t work. Its difficult to hear people on the other end.

We loved the staff, especially Diego! He is a wonderful bartender and kind person. The room is very clean,well appointed and comfortable beds. We saw a lot of animals on the property like a sloth, turkeys, baby alligator, iguana, lizards and various birds!
