The rooms need a bit of work to be more comfortable, better pillows and hooks on the back of doors would be good because there was nowhere to hang wet towels.

The pool and the bar area is really fun and the staff are amazing, very attentive and friendly!

Rooms were very basic and quite dark with only very harsh lighting - a bedside table would have been nice and the music outside could be a bit loud at times.

The room we had was a bit different to the pictures, we were expecting a triple room but instead got 2 bunk beds which was fine for me and my friend as it was a private room at least. The room was also hot and a bit damp, there is no AC only a fan and not enough air gets into the room.

Chris and the staff are so welcoming and lovely! The grounds and the facilities were great, there is a pool, gardens, bar and kitchen - even free welcome drink. The location is perfect, lots of shops, cafes and restaurants around. The hostel is useful for booking shuttles and activities too. Our stay was really enjoyable.

Kitchen was so dirty, we understand that is normally due to other guests laziness but it didn’t get cleaned the whole time we were there, would definitely recommend staff to check at least once a day. Also not enough pans, plates and cutlery at all.

Beds were comfy and air con was great. In a really central location. Staff were really friendly. Pool was nice and clean.

Kitchen needs new pots/pans/utensils. While not the Hostels issue, A number of younger male guests did not clean up after they used the kitchen. Come on folks, respect other guests and the hostel

The front desk staff were all very friendly and patiently offered a lot of help. The room was clean, although a bit old. Being able to prepare breakfast yourself was really convenient.

WiFi is not properly working from room, I had to get out of my room and go next to the bar to get properly WiFi signal. The hot water was only working for 2 min then you end-up with some cold water.

Location is really nice, you also have a small grocery store right next to it. You can chill in the common area: bar, pool and outside on the hammock.

The kitchen was the worst we’d seen during our travels. Hardly any utensils, only 2 forks, some guests went out to buy extra forks. The only freezer was broken. Everything was falling apart. The wifi was also terrible. Not enough shading outside

My room was right next to the street and was very noisy in the evening and in the morning.

The room and the complex were nice for the price I paid, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful to help me book activities. Not much to complain about.

The team is amazing! From the minute we arrived, we felt very welcome. They helped us with booking tours, learned us a lot about the country and La Fortuna. The hostel is great. They have good places to relax in and out of the sun and (if you want) a nice area to meet other people. A great place to come back to after discovering the beautiful area. The location is in the midst of the center with all the restaurants, stores and bars right around the corner. But as soon as you walk in the hostel, its seems like you are far away from the city.

One small suggestion would be to add some hooks on the walls to hang up towels and clothes to dry.

We loves our stay at Poshpacker. Has a great pool, bar, real comfy hammocks to chill in, and convenient buffer breakfast available. But most of all what we loved were the staff especially Chris, Luis, Katerine and kayneya! They were super helpful and lovely and made it a great stay.

No hot water during my stay. Wi-fi wasn't the best but sufficient for my needs.

Great location in the middle of Fortuna, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Nice garden and comfortable room. Friendly staff, they helped me organise a last-minute tour which was great.

Tour prices offered seemed expensive. Also in La Fortuna, you are likely going to be doing lots of activities, meaning less time spent in the accommodation. Overall it was nice, though we probably would have booked something cheaper in hindsight knowing how little time we spent in the hotel.

Its a good location in the centre of town. Pool looked nice, but was too cold for us to get in due to weather. Rooms were good size and clean.
