United KingdomThe only thing I would mention is the mezzanine and ladder, we quite liked it and it was fine for us as we have two teenagers, but you wouldn't want to do it if you were not fit and/or elderly... just choose another room, as this place is fabulous.
Fabulous modern hotel within a beautiful setting. The quality of the food was fantastic. Lovely pools. The staff were great from our arrival onwards. Reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant staff were excellent. We can't fault this place. We'll done and thank you to everyone involved!

Beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was incredible. The giant tree was so magical to look at while sitting by the pool or hanging out in the hammock on the front porch. Lots of great bonuses include the board games, yoga shala and the lovely locally made shampoo/soaps in the bathroom. We brought our dog and the staff were so lovely and accommodating to her (stored the dog’s food in the kitchen freezer, etc) :) our dog had the best time!

The hotel was great value for the money. Staff friendly and attentive. We had an extra guest join on short notice and were able to accommodate for only a small surcharge. The breakfast is great and the rooms/pools nested in the trees feel really private.

Our second stay at this hotel, and both visits we extended our stay by two extra days. A truly fantastic hotel, exceptional breakfast, and wonderful staff, especially the lovely young Texan fellow, who served breakfasts ( so sorry we forgot your name) Mike the owner was always kind, considerate, and made our second visit here, very welcoming. ope to visit again one day

United StatesYou need transport. Otherwise is $10 every time you go or come back. The bathroom design was unique. It was huge, with double sinks and a double outside rain shower. However it lacked a door to separate the washbasins from the toilet ??? Which in turn put the showers off limits if the toilet was in use.
The accommodation was beautiful, set at treetop level. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The pools and public areas were wonderful.

Absolutely amazing! It’s clean, calm, well organised and the staff is great. Everything is taken care of! The beds are amazing!! The best beds we had in whole Costa Rica. The location is a 10 minute (bumpy) ride from the city, but nothing more difficult than other roads in Costa Rica. It’s part of the deal. Make sure you have a car if you stay here. If not, the hotel can arrange transfers and tours where they pick you up.

United StatesThis is not anything the hotel can control, but the road is a challenge. The restaurant menu was fine, but it would have been nice to have some different choices for dinner that for lunch.
Our room was spacious and very clean. Everything worked well. The beautiful gardens made a peaceful, relaxing setting. Martina and Jenny helped us arranges activities and transportation as needed and Brandon was a wonderful server at breakfast. I enjoyed a yoga class.

MexicoMontezuma isn't the nicest place, but that isn't the fault of the property. The first days it was busy and the staff felt frantic, but the owner took the initiative, apologised and deducted a food bill which was much appreciated.
A peaceful small resort with lovely green grounds and two nice pools. The staff were friendly and accommodating of things such as late check-out or changing dishes on the menu to suit children.
