Beautiful place in the nature

The river road is bumpy and rough, but this is Costa Rica.

Beautiful gardens, very pleasant staff, cold air conditioning, the Rancho and gas grill were excellent. Hearing howler monkeys and being across from the river for easy access was nice. Dominical has a lot of very nice restaurants. Overall, the cabinas and grounds were nicer than advertised.

This is a gem of a find in Dominical. If you want a clean quiet and picturesque place it will meet your expectsations. Nothing fancy but lovely and the friendliness of the staff is a bonus.

Everything was perfect!

Great quiet place to stay, staff were awesome and the pool was great. Surrounded by nature, you wake up to amazing bird songs coming through your window and its close to pretty much everything.

The kitchen equipment could be more complete; for example, there are no proper glasses.

The wooden house has seen many years, but it has charm, is generously laid out, and very comfortable. The garden and pool are fantastic.

The only thing was my shower didn’t work great, but I informed the staff and he was able to switch my room. So no problem really.

I LOVED the pool, large, clean - so refreshing, and great AC. The location is in a sweet spot - easy to get to, secluded from the business, yet close (just a few minutes) to drive back into town. Parking lot for guests. We took the smaller bungalow with patio for 6 days. It was fine. It was all we needed. May try one of the larger rooms next time. The shared kitchen area is plenty big.

The location was great, the room was nice and spacious. The beds where comfortable, we like hard mattresses. The staff was friendly and responsive. We could walk to town which we did many times for breakfast and dinner.

I spent a couple weeks at this spot on 2 different occasions and both cabins were fabulous. I will absolutely stay here again when visiting Dominical. Location is excellent, right off the River Baru. I enjoyed the < 1 mile walk into downtown down the gravel road, but if it's not your thing, I also had no trouble getting Ubers from this location. Family owned and run, which adds to the charm. Had the best time!

Noise isolation is very poor : we were unlucky as noisy neighbors arrived the second night and couldn’t sleep until 2am.

It's on a dirt road, so when walking to town the road dust from passing vehicles was annoying.

Location was just outside town; fairly quiet and convenient to excursions.

Beautiful location, close to town. but quiet with only the sounds of the forest to help you sleep. The staff were extremely nice, and accomodating. I stayed for only two nights but wish I had stayed longer! I wiull be back for sure :)

Shower in our room was a bit of a challenge. If not changed, I recommend having a little instructions like plasticized on the wall. Just that the handle that looks like it changes temperature, has one position with decent water pressure…if slightly off, water pressure is more weak. Temperature change is on the shower head. But the hot was too hot and the midway was too cold; but other than that everything was excellent

Clean, nice, friendly staff. Really nice poll great place to land. Under 20 minute walk into town along the river. Great friendly staff and warm environment overall.

Kitchen was reasonably stocked with utensils although the knives were fairly blunt. Could have done with some basics such as pepper and cooking oil.

Good communication beforehand including a link on waze.  Lovely large apartment set in nice grounds with a small kitchen area. As slightly out of town very quiet at night which is great. Walk into town was only about 15 mins so close enough to restaurants, supermarkets and activities.  Slept really well here. Nice to have air conditioning. The pool was very welcome to relax in.

Heads up - essentials (coffee!) not provided so bring your own coffee/food.

We loved this place. A short flat walk or even shorter drive into 'town'. We had a little 'blue house' and we had everything we needed including a lovely sofa overlooking the pool area. This was our final place after 4 weeks in CR and the first time we'd had a pool to use. We really enjoyed the pool space!
