The Blue house was impeccably clean. There was fresh water in the refrigerator, and although there were only two of us staying there, there were enough beds for a whole family. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing place to stay. We had the entire little house to ourselves including well equipped kitchen and terrace. There is washing machine to do some basic laundry. It was a very pleasant stay and location was great. The owner is very friendly

The wifi is adequate for basic email checks and some travel planning but it dropped or was slow quite frequently. In the kitchen, a can opener and a second burner, as well as a few more knives of different types, would be helpful.

We enjoyed having the full house for our family and it is a charming home, convenient for the town's shops restaurants and reasonably close to the ferry and beach. The location is quiet and safe, we left the doors open when we were there in the day to help cool it down; there are also multiple fans throughout so we didn't feel the heat too much. Some helpful kitchen appliances - coffee maker, blender, rice cooker - and the cherry on top was the washing machine/spinner out back. The back patio overlooks open fields where we saw many birds, lizards and monkeys.

We arrived late evening,it was difficult to find , although it is literally 3 mins walk from where the bus leaves you. Lots of little ants around, so don't leave any food out. We put everything in the fridge. the bed and pillows arei not the best.

It was nice to have the whole house for ourselves. There is a back garden where you can see lots of beautiful birds. There is a hammock to relax on.There is a washing machine. The place is clean. Juicer, coffee maker, microwave,pots and pans for cooking .It is located next to cafes, the marina/beach etc.the owner lives opposite and although we didn't need anything, they are happy to help

Super convenient stopover for Corcovado trip - decent chalet, clean. Good value. The lady let us leave the car parked under the roof next to the chalet for 2 days during our NP trip.

The house has a lot of windows with only sheer curtains, while it's enough to provide privacy it is not enough to block the early morning sun and heat. Black out or darker curtains would help a lot with the temperature. If you're planning to cook there is an electric 2 burner cook top that does not work very well. It takes a long time to heat the pan, but somehow manages to heat the house. There are no hooks in the bathroom or any rooms to hang your towels or other items. All that aside it was a wonderful stay with a fantastic host!

The blue house was centrally located and very clean. The price is hard to beat. Matteo and his family were very accommodating!!

The location is great and walking distance from shops and beach. The host of the property met us late on arrival and was very friendly and helpfull.

The approach is down an unappealing back street, but don't be alarmed.

Really pleasant to have a whole little house to relax in. The owners across the street are ready to help if needed. Back porch with hammock gives view of paddocks.

A bit too expensive compared to other places in Costa Rica and it’s missing some flair.

Great kitchen facilities and many ventilators which we definitely needed. The lady was really nice and let us leave the car under a carport while we were at the Corcovado Nationalpark overnight.

the price is very good but the services are what you pay for. I struggled checking in because the owner didn’t send me any instructions and wouldn’t answer my messages or calls. the property was dirty and the bathroom has an always open window that makes showers in the night very crowded with insects that bite you.
