Close to beaches, grocery stores and restaurants

There were stains on the bed sheets and numerous dead bugs on top of the bed. We didn't spend the night, and were able to book another property at the last minute nearby. We had to pay for the 2 nights we had booked though.

Beautiful location nestled amongst trees and plants with wildlife around - we saw a troop of capuchin monkeys playing just a few metres from our room! Felt like a very unique experience. Easy, short walk to Cahuita National Park and town, with restaurants and bars and a supermarket.

The bed was not that comfortable and the shower pressure was very low.

Amazing location! We saw so many animals up close right outside our bungalow. Super close to National Park entrance, too. A/C works great!

The worst part was the bugs which isn't really anyone's fault but I feel it would have been helpful if the doors and windows weren't left open before coming there and weather stripping would be a good idea under the door because any bug can fit under the door including bullet ants. If you go with the mindset that you are camping in a yurt type structure, then it will be better.

Ive been to Cahuita 4 times but I have found the best location! Im sure Im not he first to say we saw more animals here, then in the park. Every day we were blessed with a Howler Alarm :) and troops of Cappuchins came thro the yard daily. Any small issue we had were immediately addressed. Comfortable beds, regular housekeeping and close enough to everything, and far enough away that it is very quiet.

Super friendly host. The place was in a great location to walk into the city or the Nationalpark. It's just a 5 Minute walk. The place itself is as pictured. it has everything you need. We even saw a few monkeys in the garden

Attractive wooden bungalows in a wonderful natural garden. Had howler monkeys and capuchin monkeys. Our room was fan only but was perfectly ok during our visit. Kettle and coffee maker. Has a well equipped communal kitchen. Very nice helpful owner.

The location is unbeatable! The bungalows sit between the town and the national park. It's 5 minutes walk to the restaurants and bars, but at the same time, there is the jungle feel and you see and hear lots of wildlife from your porch (howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, black vultures etc...). We appreciated very private feel. There are only four bungalows on the property and they are separated by greenery, so that if you don't want to see anyone, you don't need to.

Wonderful place with just 4 Bungalows in a natural setting on the edge of the Park. You'll see more animal life in this natural surroundings than in the overcrowded National Park.

Close to the nature, calm. Could see many animals just passing by and living their life from the bungalow porch.

The location, so near the park and very quiet. The garden, you can see some wild life because of the proximity of the park.

It's smaller than what it looks like on the pictures. The pressure of the shower is very poor. In spite of the mosquitoes nets on all the windows and around the bed, many mosquitoes at night.

The host was friendly and attentive. We liked the shared kitchen, usefully equipped and cleaner than most while we were there. Our modest bungalow provided everything we wanted: a good bed, a good shower (it is possible to get a decent shower from the inline electric water heaters typical of Costa Rica) and well maintained window screens and mosquito net. The absence of air conditioning wasn't a problem and we slept comfortably with the windows open. The small veranda was convenient for wildlife viewing and an end-of-the-day beer. The gardens were nice, the location was absolutely great. The entire village of Cahuita and the national park is accessible on foot. Recommended.

The bungalows on the site are at discreet distances from each other. Very quiet location. As close to the National Park as you could get - we saw more wildlife in the garden than in our visit to the National Park. Very clean and comfortable room. Shared kitchen facility - very clean with everything you need. Well kept garden with lots of planting. 5 minutes walk from the main street and large supermarket. 3 minutes from National Park entrance and beach. We had a wonderful stay at Bungalows Ache and would highly recommend it.

    All excellent.
