The staff were friendly. The facilities are clean. We loved the grounds. We saw sloths and many birds on the property. My only complaint was that the hot springs were not very hot.

A bit hard to find

The glass bungalow was outstanding. Loved the hammocks on the porch. Being in the rain forest was a plus. Many birds and animals. Staff was super accommodating. Food was excellent.

There were a couple unexpected power outages but they were restored within minutes. The hot springs were nice but not very hot unfortunately. Location is beautiful but very far (30+ mins) from La Fortuna so it makes tours long and inconvenient.

Beautiful property. Cabins were very private and well maintained. Food and amenities were great. Staff was very responsive and helpful booking tours and answering all questions.

Everything was amazing.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. They treated us like a 5-star hotel would. So friendly, and wonderful amenities at the hotel: good restaurant, walks, hot springs, pool, night hikes, etc. We loved the room: very clean, comfy bed and pillow, fantastic towel sculptures, beautiful landscaping. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

That it poured rain the entire time we were there! It would’ve been nice to have a large umbrella at every room. Also, I wish they didn’t use scented toilet paper. The chemicals in the toilet paper can cause irritation. I had to use my own untreated Kleenex to avoid problems. As an ecologically-oriented Hotel, I think it would be nice to avoid the use of chemicals anyway.

Even though it poured rain the entire time, one of the guides pointed out where we could still watch lots of birds from the open air restaurant in spite of the rain. We saw three types of toucans! The staff was excellent. When we got ready to leave, a staff member noticed we had a flat tire. He and another staff person (Alejandro) immediately jumped in to help inflate the tire, then led us to the tire shop and instructed them to fix it. It’s a lovely property and was our second visit. The staff is very responsive and helpful. And they are quick to arrive with golf carts to take you where you need to go.

Hotsprings were on the cold side of the spectrum. They can be used only after 3 pm. Restaurant is expensive, but the portions are huge. No kids menu.

Customer service is awesome. The best I've experienced in a long time. Restaurant food is delicious. The room was pretty, and the internet worked great. The place itself is beautiful.

The area is beautiful. You are nestled in the rainforest and within is an organic farm. We saw many different species of birds, including toucans, and we saw a sloth! The restaurant is 5 star, the food is amazing! Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommend, and very family friendly.

everything was great!

Alejandro at the front desk was extremely attentive, we appreciated his help during the check in process. Overall all staff from the restaurant to the golf cart drivers everyone was great! We really enjoyed our stay!

Nothing to dislike. A couple of extra options ie yoghurt and bananas would have been appreciated for breakfast.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very peaceful and lots of wildlife in the gardens. The food in the restaurant was very good with gluten free options.

Hot spring Baths were mostly closed for cleaning. The top 3 were open but limited hours.

Little far off from Arenal. But if you arrange Arenal tour, transportation is included.

Love the ambience, full of trees, flowers and birds. We saw three different types of toucans and large variety of other birds on the property.

The thermal pools are only open from 4 pm to 9 pm, so we did not get much chance to get in them. We went instead to Arenal Thermal Pools, which are about 30 minutes away by car. Also, I thought we were renting a room in La Fortuna, because that is what I wrote down when searching in Booking, so I feel like Booking did false advertisement. However, the hotel is wonderful.

I loved the service and the thermal waters. The food is pricey but good and very abundant. The rooms were very nice, we were moved to a larger room because the smaller cabins were being remodelled.

Beautiful green grounds. Very cute, comfortable, wooden lodge on stilts with nice balcony in the greenery. Pools were nice, but did not feel authentic. The restaurant was very expensive. The resort felt somewhat ‘americanised’ while we would have enjoyed a more authentic experience.

The villas were really nice and comfortable. Pros: Excellent stay, Wonderful staff, Great Restaurant. Cons: Location is pretty far from town making transportation costly to get around. Suggestion: Have a car when staying at the location.
