Location is amazing, the view of the volcano is out of this world. Host was super helpful and kind. Important: Now the road is paved so the access is so much easier ! Loved everything

The house is great but dated. Kitchen pans were worn but clean, not numerous. Air con in one room, not all. Would recommend some coat hangers and hanging places as there were none. But really, not a lot to dislike.

The location is beyond words. Top of the world with views for miles and miles. With the volcanoe centre stage. House was large, clean, and comfortable. And detached with neighbours that are not too close. Giving you privacy. You will need a car to travel to the sites and activities which are numerous. But all a few miles away.

Very beautiful cottage, extremely well equipped kitchen. The owners were very sweet. We had mostly cloudy weather but during the clear weather moments you had an amazing view on the volcano and sit on the terrace watching it. Extremely clean and very spacious. The accomodation is outside of La Fortuna but also next to a paved road, so you don't have to go off road

A/c located in o e room so noisy fan to get cold air everywhere. Before we started the a/c,there was a definite musty and dog smell.... message to owner: get rid of this sofa :-).

The view is great for the family cottage facing Arenal. The cottage is compact but it has the features needed for a short or long-term stay.

The location was absolutely incredible. Stunning views and a very spacious place. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Esmeralda and Daniel made our stay extremely special, and helped us with anything and everything. 10/10

It is quite far out of town on a bumpy road so would recommend a bigger car to get there.

The view from the property was amazing! It was a bit cloudy sometimes but we could usually see Arenal poking through. The garden is so beautiful, and attracts gorgeous butterflies and hummingbirds. My dad had a great time just sitting on the patio and enjoying the sound of the jungle, watching all the wildlife surrounding the cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. We also found the resident sloth on the road next to the house! The mural on the walls of the house is unbelievably beautiful!! The house was compact but had everything you needed - hot water, wifi, washing machine, AC, fully equalised kitchen, and even a smart TV. We really enjoyed staying there, and the price was great too!

Those of us in the cottage surrounded only by grass were disappointed that hardly any animals came to visit. Also, credit card was not accepted as a form of payment for the rental, which was not very convenient.

Our large family was divided up among three of the cottages. All were clean, comfortable and had a view of the volcano. Two of the cottages were surrounded by greenery, and people in those cottages enjoyed sighting wildlife such as monkeys, birds and butterflies.

The location isn’t the easiest to access, especially with a small vehicle, as the road is unpaved and quite rocky. We also encountered an issue with the washing machine; the floor was flooded one morning due to a leaking pipe. However, these were minor inconveniences and didn’t significantly impact our overall experience.

The house offered a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and lush green surroundings. The spacious yard was perfect for morning workouts. The bathroom was very well-equipped and roomy. We also made good use of the laundry facilities, which allowed us to take care of our laundry during our stay.

Beautiful uninterrupted view of the Arenal volcano and valley. Quiet, rural setting with a few cabins nearby. The bedroom had double windows opening on to the patio. It was a good size with 2 comfortable queen beds and a put up bed for a child. Aircon was only in the bedroom, it was quiet and efficient. There was a large shower unit with lots of hot water. Cushioned seats and a table were on a covered patio which was large enough to use during a downpour. The settee in the living area was a good size. The kitchen has a full sized freestanding cooker with 4 rings , a microwave, rice steamer, and mini oven grill, coffee machine and kettle. Cooking utensils were limited to spoons/ slice and a knife. There were plenty of pans & a colander. The 11kg load washing machine was a bonus. Daniel was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We were delighted when he introduced us to Freddy a local sloth at the end of the drive.

Minor thing, the house is next to a half gravel road. During the day it was a bit annoying but no problem in the evening or early morning.

The view is amazing ! Has everything as advertised. We loved having breakfast while watching the colibris. During the evening we had a firefly show and the visit of the biggest toad.

Only drawback was that the house only one toilet, so you might have to wait in queue if you are traveling with a big family :D.

Breathtaking views from the house and very well managed. The house was clean and has all the necessary things required for family. We had to cancel our sight seeing plans just to stay in the house and enjoy the vibe. Highly recommended.
