The shower had a loose stone on the floor, that accumulated water and got a bit smelly. The room was not very well lit. Very sparsely furnished, lacks shelves or drawers. Can get very hot, although it has a fan.

Very quiet place. Located in the center of the village, a short walk from the beach and the entrance to the national park, and just a block from the main street with the restaurants and shops. Although I didn't need it, there is a full communal kitchen that the guests can use. Although it lacks amenities, it is very good value, making it a very good choice for a short stay.

The mattress was old coil springs and a little uncomfortable but i slept okay. The kitchen lacks decent/ proper utensils and cookware. The knife was not sharp. A slight modern upgrade would be great. It would not cost that much. The good thing is the private bathroom but shower only. The bad side is it's not that clean and water pressure is weak for the cold water if many other guests are all showering simultaneously. One other good thing is that it has consistent hot water. Other than that, I would still recommend staying here if you want a nice quiet budget private stay.

Very quiet. Close to the beach. Close to nature. I even saw a family of small monkeys on the roof of the hotel rooms. The monkeys were harmless and friendly though. The couple are nice and friendly and their 2 small children are very well behaved. It's a family run hotel. I would stay again. Thanks

Bathroom water leak. Had to change room. You can hear everyone around but silence in the night. No english speaking staff. No hangers. Thin curtains.

Garden. Dining table in the garden. Mosquito screens. Comfortable colourful rooms. Functional kitchen. Good value. Nice polite friendly staff. Strong wifi.

There isn't really any place to hang clothes.

Room is spacious and clean. TV has a few English channel. Facilities is a bit dated. Location is convenient.

The Cabinas Surf Side is located on the quiet street in the center of Cahuita. Everything is nearby: restaurants, supermarkets, bank, etc. The beach is 10 min walk and 7 min walk to Cahuita National Park. The check in and check out time are flexible. It's very convenient. Thanks, host!

Doors could be difficult to open. Showers variable temperature and pressure depending on number being used. Rooms a bit tired but fine for the price.

Great location, close to town, beaches and National Park. Kitchen quite good: fridge, freezer, 2 hobs, pots, pans and microwave. Great covered area which was perfect as we were a group of 15.

The showerhead could have been better: minimal water flow. Also, everytime I flushed the toilet an odd sewer odor filled the air. During our visit, we encountered 2 two cockroaches, one in the bathroom and the other one in the kitchen. No air conditioning (we knew this before booking and they do provide a very powerful fan, but it is still very humid and warm).

Location was excelent!!! Located in the middle of the town: walking distance from the national park, restaurants, and the little port where the boat tours depart from. One block away from the main street. Also located in a not very crowded nor loud block. Also, we did not expect a kitchen with a fridge to use. That saved us a lot of money in restaurants. WIFI worked well and covered entire property. The hotel met our expectations according to the price I paid. Staff was super friendly. I would stay here again and again.

It's not very social, good for couples who want to be on their own.

Staff is nice, a bit limited English, but she tries :-) Room is nice and big, stable Internet, only fan, comfortable beds, kitchen has normal equipment, tab water drinkabel, 3 minutes to park entrance, 5 to bus terminal.

The kitchen was not well equipped for the guests, was simply there To boil water to make a cup of tea or coffee the small pot was without handle so was very dangerous. there were only huge pots of no need for single person. Not a single good knife, not a single bag of tea, coffee, sugar or the very basic stuff to welcome guests. Basically this shows total lack of caring.

They don't hold the luggage after checkout which is quite unprofessional. The only socket is across the room near the ceiling which makes it very hard to keep your electrics charged. The receptionist was not knowledgeable about the town and gave the wrong answer to almost every question I asked.

Rather thin mattress with solid wooden base underneath.

A last minute booking as the 'transfer' service I booked from Bocas del Toro to San Jose was dodgy and turned out to involve local buses which weren't going to connect up, so got off at Cahuita as seemed less dodgy that Limon. The pair working at the time spoke little english, but through google translate we managed and they made up and cleaned a room at last minute.

The walls were pretty thin so you can here your neighbors. Somebody arrived in the middle of the night with a car and woke up us.

The room is decent, bathroom was ok, wifi was good.
