The staff, the hotel, the room, the garden and especially the restaurant. We loved Plata Negra beach, as well. We liked it all! Highly recommended stay at this modern newly renovated hotel! The food is exquisite, and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a nice pool and an even nicer garden. We would like to return and stay longer at this hotel.

Parking can be limited, especially when the restaurant is full, but this isn't a major issue as the area is secure.

I spent three days with my family at this hotel for my birthday, and it was a remarkable experience. The staff, especially Juan Carlos, the chef, Pascal, Rosemary, Alex, etc, made it extraordinary. Juan Carlos prepared some of the most exquisite dishes I've ever tasted, including an amazing Ceviche, along with superb fish and beef dishes. The birthday chocolate cake for me was the best I've tried – perfectly balanced in sweetness and taste. We appreciated their accommodating our late-night arrival after work. The hotel staff was consistently helpful and attentive to our comfort. The hotel's location is ideal, being near Playa Negra, an uncrowded beautiful beach with white sand and clear water during low tide in the morning. Additionally, it's just an hour's drive from Conchal Beach, one of Costa Rica's most famous and beautiful beaches, and an hour and a half from Catalinas, Danta, and Dantita beaches. I highly recommend this place for its exceptional service and the splendid Playa Negra.

The walls of the rooms are too thin so you can hear all the noise outside and from the other rooms. The air-conditioning made very loud noise when it was on so we had to turned it off

Room was comfortable, bathroom was spacious and clean. The pool area is nice and the food in the restaurant very good too. Location is good, quite close to the entrance of Playa Negra

Our room did not have air conditioning. It did not say either way when we booked. zOur toilet seat was broken. The lock on the door was hard to open because it looked the door knob and was messed up. The fan would only go on low so we didn't really sleep because we were too hot.

Breakfast was fabulous and delicious. The hotel was beautiful. The staff and all the food was great. The rooms were so cute and well designed.

Not much since everything was fine really ! Just to mention that the location is a bit remote, so not many options in terms of food / restaurant. Bathroom a bit smelly

Newly renovated hotel with modern design, very nice rooms (although smaller than anticipated) and lovely pool.Overall a very comfy atmosphere. Very good restaurant and yummy breakfast (included in room rate). Very nice staff - especially Alex for the communication before checking in and Yami who took care of us during our stay. Thank you so much for your kindness !!

The rooms were extremely small—there was so little space that it was difficult to move around the suitcases. The woman who cleaned the rooms during our stay was very skilled at her job, but the dust from the road (which runs right outside the hotel) made the sofas and other guest areas quite dusty. The garden isn’t a particularly inviting place to spend time in. Otherwise, we felt reasonably okay at the hotel, but it was far too expensive considering the lack of quality.

There are definitely some positive things to say about the place. The staff, for example, were very kind, the restaurant was absolutely fantastic, there was a yoga studio right next to the hotel, and there was live music one of the evenings.

The room is super small and staying in room 1 it didn’t feel very private. The only option was to have the blinds down all day so the guests cant see into your room. It just seemed a bit expensive for what it was.

Restaurant was awesome such amazing food and lovely staff, nice touches in the room.

Music of the restaurant all the time extremely loud, all one cleaner for the whole hotel and she is overwhelmed and do rooms very late in the day (3pm), very expensive hotel for what it provides
