It’s a charming, rustic, clean, nature infused property looking towards the volcano. The staff was lovely and courteous, and the breakfast was a delicious bonus

The view from the room was superb and truly wonderful to wake up to each morning (opening up the curtains - just wow, breathtaking!). Lovely brekky. They even accommodated us when we had an early start for a tour by letting us have breakfast 15 mins early. Also shoutout to the special David on reception, he was so warm and kind and knowledgable, it really helped us as new arrivals to the country. David thank you!

Not much to complain about maybe the refilling of breakfast as it can get busy and it is next to the main road which wasn't a problem but some may notice it.

Front Desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The location was perfect as it advertises at the foot of the volcano is accurate. Great facilitates to enjoy the peace and quiet and enjoy being immersed in nature.

we stayed in “The Villa” a bit isolated from the rest with the most stunning view on the Arenal 🤩 Plenty of birds/wildlife to watch directly from the terrace. Just magnificent.

The only thing we would have liked is a pool on the premises.

The room exceeded my expectations, the view of the volcano was spectacular, and the grounds around us were beautiful, they even have a walking trail that looked interesting, we didn't have time to do that. The breakfast was just right, a nice assortment, a usual Costa Rican breakfast. The only thing we would have enjoyed is if there was a pool on the premises, at the end of a long day, it would have been nice to cool off in a pool, although we were told we could use the pool in the hotel next door, but we were to tired to walk over there. There's a good restaurant right across the street, but it's easy to get an Uber and go into the little town, only 10 minutes away.

Totally relaxed and chilled. At the base of Arenal you have the best views. Gardens are fantastic and the nature trail is quite a challenge and beautiful. Away from the hustle of La Fortuna. Good restaurants nearby, try LaPalma local restaurant. Best place in the area. We even saw the whole volcano one morning right after a rain. Not far from the free hot springs!

Breakfast was okay, there could be more choice and variety, especially if you stay more than one night.

Great place to stay with nice comfortable houses including a great view to the volcano! The personnel was very friendly and we had the opportunity to use a laundry service (4 $ per kg) - we were very happy with that. Perfect location for excursions to the volcano and waterfalls and to Fortuna with many restaurants and bars.

One of the beds had rubberized sheets which were very squeaky! But you just need to ask to have them changed.

An amazing location in the countryside with a beautiful setting and an incredible view of Volcán Arenal. Very quiet and peaceful, with access to a short but lovely forest trail. Each cabin has a deck where you can sit in the mornings with your coffee and listen to the birds and monkeys. Spacious room with a nice bathroom. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and assisted with making arrangements. A bit far from town, but easy to get around by Uber.

Very convenient and close to other restaurants. Not too close and not too far from the town. Nice views, lot of hibiscus and other flowering plants. Lots of birds to see. Hummingbirds, parrots and so many more. Rustic, clean, quiet place, beds were wonderful, decent breakfast. If you are looking for fancy accommodations, find something else. This is just what we wanted. I would stay again.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel Campo Verde consists of a few cottages spread out on a lush green property with great views of Arenal Volcano from your window. We appreciated how clean it was. The plus factor was the proximity to Baldi Hit Springs and Fortuna town. We also enjoyed a morning hike on the trail where we spotted lots of birds. The bonus was waking up and seeing Arenal Volcano from our window. Definitely recommend.

The room was basic, and could have used a few hooks/stands to hang clothes, towels, bags, and personal items... Our AC didn't work on arrival and was fixed in timely fashion by maintenance resetting the circuit breakers.

The property was beautiful, and the birds sang all day! The view was amazing even though it rained for most of our trip. We got to see 85% of Arenal. Very good breakfast and nice staff. We also enjoyed the trail, although we didn't see any animals but birds.

We found that the hot water in the shower was hit or miss. It was never cold, but sometimes not hot.

We had 2 cabins situated next to each other and connected by a walkway. That was fun. The area is secluded, beautiful and quiet, where you can hear all the birds. Also, a fabulous view of the volcano if it's not cloudy. We had a nice porch with 2 rocking chairs and a table to enjoy nature. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was a traditional Costa Rican breakfast- it was delicious. We would return and would 100% recommend.
