Everything was absolutely exceptional! The hosts Millie and Vincent were amazing and couldn't do enough for me! The breakfasts were delicious and overall the B&B was superb! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Carrillo.

Nothing everything was perfect!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean, property were clean, and rooms were cleaned daily. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Far from the Samara downtown area so restaurants were limited for walking distance. A car is definitely needed.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Within 5-10 minutes walking distance to amazing beach, several restaurants and small grocery stores. Beautiful hotel and super clean.

Everything! This is a lovely little family run hotel, and they were so helpful and welcoming. The location was five minutes walk from a beautiful local beach - playa Carrillo - and close to plenty of restaurants of differing types. Only 15 mins drive from Sàmara, a chilled beach holiday town. The rooms are lovely, very high quality fixtures and fittings. We really would encourage you to stay here, and if we are ever in Costa Rica again, we would stay here again.

Everything was perfect for us

Great comfortable room, quiet, 2 nice pools and lounge areas! Welcoming breakfast/bar area and Millie who made tasty breakfasts and was always so helpful! Location perfect, short walk or drive to lovely corillo beach and easy walk to great restaurants.

The breakfast was fantastic and everyone was so nice. The location was perfect -- close to the beach and restaurants but also very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners are on-site and quick to answer questions and accommodate requests.

The air conditioner could stand to be updated. For improved privacy and sleep, I would suggest black-out blinds.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Buenavista!! You could really feel the charm of the owners being nearby. Very well maintained, walking distance to lovely beach (better sunsets here than Samara!), and super safe. Hope to be back!!

We stayed at the bungalow. It was very private, spacious and comfortable. The owners were very nice and friendly. It was great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the pool as well.

Great bungalow close to the beach. There are also 2 swimming pools inside the hotel. The host is very friendly and also helped to book dolphin tour. Definitely recommend.

The owners were friendly and the room was well appointed. The property is surrounded by lush vegetation and has two pools. Had a fab reasonably priced massage. Breakfast was yummy too!

Sun loungers uncomfortable.

Staff/owner was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Owner had great sense of humor. Location was perfect - short walk to restaurants, groceries and beach. Lovely beach!! Our unit was super clean and spacious and the garden provided lots of privacy. Breakfasts were terrific- several options all provided with delicious fresh fruit and tropical fruit compote (loved this!). Units were well equipped and tidied everyday.2 lovely pools to hill out in. Great AC in bedrooms which was awesome as it is very hot in Samara.

The Casa Buenavista Hotel is a fabulous place to stay when visiting the beautiful Carrillo beach. Carrillo is much smaller and quieter than nearby Samara and suited us perfectly. We were holidaying with our adult son and his girlfriend and had spent the previous 10 days discovering Costa Rica's wildlife in locations such as Tortuguero, La Fortuna and Monteverde. The Casa Buenavista rooms were beautifully appointed and offered a welcome respite from the sun. Our balcony had shade for much of the day which meant we could sit and admire the views without overheating! Breakfasts were delicious and freshly prepared each day by the family who run the hotel. Plenty of fresh fruit, plus simple cooked options were just what we wanted. Vincent and his wife were extremely helpful too, arranging a tour for us (we saw dolphins, a sea turtle and a hump-backed whale!) and a taxi to Samara for an evening out. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Breakfast was really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and facilities were very nice. Both pools were very nice. Didn't realize it had two pools from the info. Bed was very comfortable.

If it overlooked the ocean it would have been perfect.
