The aircon in our bedroom barely worked so we had 2 uncomfortable nights.

The lack of light in the room, no windows! The entrance into the shower was so narrow you could only get in sideways! The entry into the hotel is very tricky and our car got damaged.

The hotel is very dated. The leather sofas in the reception were worn and cracking . The rooms we stayed in were dark with no windows. There were 2 doors on each side, one leading to the corridor and the other to the pool. The pictures and the mirror were crooked in our room and though I tried to straighten them, they kept getting crooked which for a slightly OCD person was very annoying. The “veranda” was lovely like that of an old bungalow with comfortable seating. Breakfast was not great and breakfast service was poor. Pool is nice.The hotel staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful.

Some of the reception staff weren't the most helpful at times, and a shame breakfast only starts at 7am as we'd booked excursions that meant meeting outside at that time. Saying that, the staff let us go in a bit early to grab a quick breakfast sandwich to go so that was helpful!

Lovely room, and great pool area (complete with howler Monkeys in the trees at one point!). Staff were also really friendly, and the breakfast was good. Get there at 7am so it's fresh as it's a buffet style that stays out. Would definitely return!

Breakfast could have had more variety. Laundry was extremely expensive and a couple of things shrunk.

Loved pretty much everything. Very comfortable room, two lovely pool areas, great location. We were allowed to check-in a day early after an issue with previous accommodation and the staff were very accommodating of that.

Pool was too warm :-))))) no chance to cool off - but the A/C did the job.

The majority of the staff were wonderful. All of the restaurant and bar staff were excellent. The property was great. A wonderful place to “get lost in” while being near Manuel Antonio.

The only thing that could've been better was faster service in the evening hours. Possibly a sign saying to pay at the counter might be helpful as well!

We enjoyed the breakfast, had a variety of food to choose from. Maybe every other day they could serve a plate of banana pancakes or waffles. All the fresh fruit was delicious and we really enjoyed the granola and yogurt bar. We were also very thankful the room had good air conditioning.

The receptionist is unwelcoming and unfriendly. After a long and tiring journey, to run into this gentleman who only wanted to tell us we would be fined if we lost our pool towel or room key was appalling further more to tell us not to ask questions until he had finished explaining what was important to him was plainly rude. This was a good hotel once slowly going down hill. Breakfast is unappetising and the apparatus they use is unhygienic. My best advice to the hotel is if you don’t use it or it hasn’t been cleaned in the last ten years throw it out!!!

The pool area is a beautiful oasis which makes you feel you are in the jungle simply lovely. We had a room beside the pool which was super. The rooms are very large and comfortable, nice bathrooms Great cleaning staff that keep the rooms super clean. Staff individually very pleasant.

The front desk staff are pleasant but not overly friendly - so not so welcoming when you arrive or need something (by comparison to all of the other places we stayed). The room we had was small and very noisy with the road traffic and barking dogs that begin around 5am. Although your car is in a secured garage, it’s a little inconvenient to have to go to the front desk every time to have them open the garage door when you want to go out or go back in…beep of your own or atleast a bell instead of having to walk to the front desk would be better.

The property is in a good location and the grounds are beautiful with a very tropical feel to it. We even had some monkeys visit for breakfast. Having two pools was nice. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was absolutely delicious - very well presented too!

Breakfast tends to dry up in the last hour and you aren't left with a lot of choices if you arrive in that time. Location wise- there also aren't a massive amount of restaurants nearby.

The staff was very happy to help out anytime. Our room was beside the pool, that area is so beautiful, we felt like we were in the middle of the jungle, we loved it. The meals were excellent, although they could add more vegan options on their menu. I would recommend this lovely place to everyone.

It could be a little noisy at night with vehicle noises, barking dogs and roosters.

The pools and gardens were beautiful. I loved that there was a lap pool. The staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Being self-serve made it great for the mornings that we had to go to early activities. Even though it's in a busy area we still had the pleasure of being woken up by howler monkeys.
