The property at Coco Beach Village is beautiful. There are a variety of plants and flowers that attract many species of birds that can be observed throughout the day. The property is very secure as far as safety. There is a locked gate to enter with your car or if you just walk in. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!! The owner, David, goes above and beyond for his guests and cares truly cares about your experience at his property.

I had an amazing experience at Coco Beach Village! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. David had plenty of knowledge of the area and genuine kindness. He went above and beyond, offering helpful recommendations and assistance whenever I needed it. The entire staff was exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything. The overall atmosphere was inviting and relaxing, making it a perfect getaway spot. I highly recommend Coco Beach Village for anyone looking for a memorable vacation.

Beautiful property! We sadly just stayed here for a quick night before visiting Manuel Antonio. Sad we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or easy walk to the beach! Communication was excellent, room clean and comfy. Highly suggest this place

That we didn’t spend more time here

The property was amazing! The pool was clean and gorgeous, perfect way to spend the day. The staff were all incredible and accommodating and we had excellent communication with the hotel prior to our arrival. The room was clean and spacious with a gorgeous bathroom and equipped with a fridge, kettle, microwave, and coffee pot. Also, the breakfast that you can get for just $10 was amazing! We got given a fruit plate to start, followed by toast with jam and butter and eggs cooked however we wanted with rice, beans and fried bananas to top it all off. We also got orange juice and there is tea and coffee available! No complaints would highly recommend!

Everything! From the three towels (beach, swimming pool, shower) to the pool, the seating areas outside, the proximity to the beach, the big comfy bed, the multiple pillows with different levels of thickness and sturdiness to choose from, the kitchenette.. I'm not sure whether we got a really good deal, but for the price we paid the value for worth was just exceptional.

Huge upstairs room, very comfy. A few minutes walk from a spectacular beach. Monkeys and birds visible from the deck. Nice beach towels for use.

Breakfast should be included for the price.

The real standout at Coco Beach is the garden and pool, David, the owner, is very helpful and attentive. The design of the rooms and furniture is also exquisite. Great natural light. The beach at Matapalo, a couple minutes walk away, is beautiful. I had the whole beach to myself except during late afternoon when locals walked there. If there's a downside, it's that you'll need a car to get here and get around. Dominical is close enough by car that you can easily enjoy the restaurants and music there. Coco Beach is a such a good value that I decided to extend my stay from 1 to 4 nights.

The crabs in the pool. On the plus side, that indicates how clean the water is. But what if they get into your swimsuit?!

Fantastic location! Mere steps away from a beautiful beach. Great area. Had the beach almost entirely to ourselves most of the time. A few dozen locals showed up on the weekend, but most of the time you could walk out and look a mile each way up and down the beach and see maybe one or two people, but often no one at all. Incredible, considering how beautiful the beach is. You are also right next to two good restaurants and a well stocked convenience store. I got up early one morning (around 6:30) and walked down the lane that runs parallel to the beach and watched a troop of at least a dozen monkeys jump through the trees grabbing fruit. I’d never seen anything like it in my life. Quite something! The hotel itself is very nice and David is a great host. Comfortable bed and hot shower. The best nights of sleep I had on my trip were those I spent here. There is a very good traditional breakfast offered each morning (for a fee.) Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is only a two minute walk to this beautiful beach, which stretches for miles and miles! The place is very quiet, laid back, and relaxing ; the bed was super comfy.Breakfast on the second floor was ample and delicious. The owner, David, was most kind and helpful.A special note of gratitude to David"s hired cleaning ladies: I had forgotten my cel phone in the room when we checked out. A half hour later, they called my husband's phone to tell us about it!! I deeply appreciate this gesture and their honesty!!! Congrats on a great staff!

We have absolutely no complaints about this lovely place!

Family feel with the owner David, making everyone feel welcome. A few minutes walk to the beach, supermarket and a few restaurants. Nice and clean with secure parking. Away from the touristy vibe of Manuel Antonio, but close enough to drive for the attractions there and Uvita. And so also a good place to stop if traveling down the coast.

The beach is amazing and only a 5 minute walk.

Slightly ridiculous that the room has a microwave, fridge and kettle but no cups etc

    Property response:

I was very surprised at this review because it goes against all the reviews I have had in the past. They stayed for one night, and I let them use the hotel Facilities after check-out. As quoted in booking.com, the Hotel kitchen can be used by the guests so they have access to cups, dishes and everything they need. Cups are also downstairs on a table obviously for the guests to use. If something is missing please let me know I am here to help. My staff have an average of 9,7 and the cleanliness is at 9,8. so I have no idea what happened here.

Lovely grounds very close to the beach. Great pool and rooms comfortable. Good breakfast and access to cooking area if desired.

Big storm knocked out power for a couple hours, but that impacted the whole neighborhood not just our hotel.

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. Host is very helpful - went out of his way to meet our needs during our stay. Very close to a beach which is good for body surfing - but stay in the shallow water due to rip tides, which are common along tne Pacific coast.
