The breakfast was excellent. Definitely choose the typical Costa Rica breakfast option. We had ripe plantains every morning that came from Danny's family. The location was right on the Monteverde/ Quepos bus line. The buses came by often and was only 370 colones. The pool was clean and looked nice but we didn't use it. The AC plus the fan kept the room very comfortable. There was a good, simple restaurant just a short walk towards Quepos called Mimos that we went to several times. Be cautious while walking due to traffic and sharp turns.

Great location with easy access to the city buses. Large rooms and beds made for a comfortable stay and the staff is so kind and hospitable. This is my second time at the property and I will definitely come again!

Thank you very much, Elana. You are very kind and clear. We will welcome you here as often as you like.

Big beautiful room. King size Bed comfy. Lots of places to hang things up. Good Breakfast Nice pool

Road noise was annoying after while. I from 4 am on there was lots of motorcycle traffic and they are louder than cars by far. But we were ok with it. Really my only complaint.

    Property response:

The people were friendly, you can easily go to manuel antonio park, the pool is okay, there is breakfast but you pay for it, basic.

My room was next to the breakfast table so I woke up every morning at 7AM by loud Americans. The hotel is very old, there is mould to see in lots of places and it is all in all very basic.

Really comfortable property with a nice pool, good breakfast.

If you don’t have a car the property is quite far from town, however there is a bus stop directly outside.

    Property response:

Overall my stay was good, but I must say that it started pretty bad for the reasons mentionned below. Good that the staff was nice and helpful as they moved me to another room after I complained. The second room I had was so much nicer. It such a shame that I had to go through that on the first night.

My first night was terrible! First they gave me a very smelly room. The room had this really strong smell of humidity. The bed sheets had that strong smell too. The room looked really old and unhealthy. When I arrived the window was open and the mosquito net was broken. There was one small lamp that didn't work and it was quite dirty too. During the night one of the bed slats fell. Tried to take a shower in the morning and when I turned it on, some kind of fuse blew and some sparks and smoke came out of the shower head. Knowing that it's all connected to the power I ended not showering there afraid to get electrocuted. The guy that came to fix it actually slightly electrocuted himself twice while fixing it. Finally that room was near the road, the pool and also by the breakfast area so it was quite noisy all the time.

    Property response:

Hello, very good day, dear Guillaume, We greatly appreciate your comment. For us, it was a pleasure to assist you and help resolve the sporadic situations that arose during your stay. -We apologize for the mishap with the shower; it was a special case that came up, and we resolved it as soon as we found out what happened. We provided you with another space where you could get ready as you deserved, clearly remembering that such situations are not common. -We remind you that Manuel Antonio is a forest by the beach. We have an immense amount of water produced by our tropical forest, while on the other hand, the heat from the sun on our beach creates a very strong evaporation, which we call humidity. -Our rooms are constantly cleaned daily, and we always try to disinfect all areas used by our guests. On our social media and extranets, we share the content of our rooms in images as clearly as possible so that the customer can make a reservation with certainty about what they will receive.

Location, Location, Location!! We needed a place close to the beaches and the national park. We found this one in the middle for both and away from the downtown. The rooms and very big and comfortable. We did not use the pool at it was raining most of the days in the evening.

The room AC dumped a lot of water on our bed and end table in the middle of the night. It was fixed the day after. The breakfast is very bland, boring and the same options every day. We needed unexpected checkout at 10pm. We could not find anyone to reach out. I had to ask for help to the family living there.

Overall this hotel is quite nice. It is right in the middle of Quepos and Manuel Antonio, so you can get to either town very easily by taking the public bus for a dollar or 380 colones. The rooms were far enough from the main road that it wasn't too noisy. There aren't a ton of guests, which is nice. The pool was refreshing. The bed was comfortable and bathrooms were okay, although they do not include shampoo. Room cleaning cost extra.

If breakfast was included then this would be a great value! You can pay extra for breakfast, but there is not a restaurant for other meals.

The staff - Jimena was terrific. She was incredibly helpful.

Run down - old and poorly maintained. Hot Shower broken and actually shock me when trying to adjust. Definitely a dangerous situation. Needless to say, there was no hot water and cold showers had to be taken

Very clean and charming. Very close to the road but we didn't hear anything from inside our room. Very close to Manuel Antonio (by car).

Proximity to the road. A lot of noise from the road when using the swimming pool or patio.

Staff was super nice and very helpful. Love them both, Hermina and Ana Karina were the best! Great location. Ana Karina gives a great physio massage and follows with suggested excercises. They helped me deal with a nasty iguana bite so it would not get infected...many thanks!

The lock was tricky and steps to entrance need some repairs.
