I liked the style, the pool and the feel of the place. Staff were helpful. Food was good value. It was centrally located and handy for buses.

Location was excellent for walking in San Jose - easy to access tourist attractions and good restaurants. Staff were welcoming and attentive Recommend a short taxi towards Wilk Brewery for a good evening meal and drinks Quiet rooms

The pool is tiny and seems to be intended for decorative purposes, rather than for swimming.

Great location in the city center, yet quiet and peaceful. The junior suite is very spacious. Nice bathroom. Very tasty breakfast.

A bit dated in terms of facilities.

Very centrally located and close to the main museums and attractions and main shopping area. Very friendly staff, loved the breakfast and hospitality. Excellent choice for a stopover in the capital. Very clean too

We arrived at night and the area isn’t super great. When we got to our room we noticed there were bugs all over the curtains and BOTH the beds. We were able to get our rooms switched though.

Bit hard accessing hotel by car as no parking on site ( around the corner) but you need to acquire a ticket from the front desk first)

Less honking of horns in the street I believe it's cultural they honk the horns a lot in San Jose

Beautiful fresh fruit wonderful eggs and plantains they were other dishes but that's what I ate and it was delicious

Centrally located hotel in downtown San Jose

Avoid rooms on ground floor. They face the pool, smelled damp and musty and do not seem to have windows to the outside, only ones to the courtyard, so there's no privacy. We were booked into one and would not stay in it. Neighborhood dodgy at night. We did walk over to Chinatown and had a good meal, but lots of street people and drunks in the evening. Would spring for a better hotel closer to the excellent National museum.

Breakfast was fine. Staff friendly and nice, but front desk a little disorganized. We upgraded to Jr suite, which was comfortable, but a bit worn, as is the hotel. Our room faced the street, which is noisy. We travel with earplugs, so were ok. Location is good for central museums and Chinatown, but it is on the "wrong" side of Carr. Interamericana. Excellent restaurant directly across the street, La Esquina de Buenos Aires.

Great location (Short walk to Parque Central and pleasant Barrio Amón neighbourhood). Staff very helpful and friendly. Safe and secure hotel. A lovely breakfast to get the day going.

The bed, the bedding, and the room was a bit tired, but it also might have been my perception as I had been staying in very nice lodges in other parts of the country. The WiFi did not really work in the room.

The location was good, as it was right in the downtown area, which is where I wanted to be. The young lady at the front desk was a great help with arranging a vehicle for my next stage of my holiday. The café staff were very pleasant.

Nice enough place, that is pretty central so there es easy access to sights and restaurants. We had a room next to the road so it was noisy during the (Saturday) night. Breakfast could have been better but overall it was okay.
