A bedside lamp or light switch would be useful.

A comfortable budget hotel, near the airport and handy for onward travel north by bus. It has hot water, good wi-fi and a tv in the room.

Everything was nice at the hotel, arrived late and the manager was at the front desk to help us out and let us in. Very good guy, place was clean and quiet and perfect. No issues.

Per other's comments, the room did not have the best airflow and the room was a bit stuffy. My room faced a rising sun and the thin curtain did little to prevent me from being waken at sunrise.

A good value stay close to the airport in the central part of Alajuela. Staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Continental breakfast was fine. Found the hostel to be very clean. Excellent wifi and they brought a chair and desk to my room so I could work remotely.

The smaller room was humid and lacked ventilation. The bathrooms are smelly, probably because of the old plumbing. The hotel would need some renovations but the friendly staff makes you forget about it!

The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. They went out of their ways to help us finding a doctor, which we really appreciated! The location is perfect, within walking distance of the bus station and the main square.

Our room didn’t have a window to the outside, it was pretty hot and the fan didn’t do much help.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions about our travel. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast and nice outdoor area, and was impressed with the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms. It was only a short ride from the airport.

My room only had a window that opened into the passageway, so it was a little bit hot and stuffy even with the fan. And after a late night arrival the morning business traffic starts early and it was a little bit too noisy to sleep.

Great location very close to the airport for my late night arrival. Right in the heart of town, so gave me great opportunity to walk around check out the church and some of the parks and people watch :-) They offer a nice complementary breakfast at the restaurant across the street typical Costa Rican style yummy It was a great value. And the staff were just fantastic!
