A bit noisy on the street- rocks in the beach right in front of the property— but a very small price to pay for this amazing place- I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else!

We had a wonderful stay at these beautiful villas surrounded by lush nature and just steps away from the beach. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful environment. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty every morning, the gallo pinto was definitely my favorite

We felt the breakfast often left us a hungry and felt very basic at times. Maybe we're exceptionally big eaters though.

The space is beautiful and location is stunning. You'll find yourself in a jungle oasis filled with beautiful plants and animals just seconds from a white sand carribean beach. The yoga classes on sight are fun and challenging. Staff was incredibly nice. The house is spacious and clean, and has all the amenities you want. You're a beach walk away from several good restaurants.

Not really something we did not like but breakfast requires improvement for such place and the price.

Everything was wonderful. we really liked the area, the garden, the villa and how it is decorated. it is a calm and nicely organized place. Lots of animals around. The pool side was good and the pool was ok. the villa was just around 50m from ocean. Punta Uva is close by and the beach is wonderful. Puerto Viejo is 10mins by car.

It was really amazing: accommodation, direct to the beach, personnel, yoga activities.Already before arrival we got, after my inquiry to them, usefull infos. Also location is amazing: Punta Uva offered us a wonderful experience during snorkeling- a curious big turtle came close to us and stayed with us for about 5 min. We stayed for one night, however they kept our luggage while we hiked through Manzanillo Park.

Amazing place to relax and calm down direct at the beach. The villas are nice and comfortable and there is a beautiful yoga Shala that can be used privately if there is no classes. The personal is very friendly and helpful. The small breakfast includes croissants and fresh fruits. At the small private beach outside of the hotel you can find sun beds, but be careful to swim outside of the hotel, as there are a lot of coral and stones there. There is a better possibility to swim just couple meter away to the right side of the hotel.

We loved our stay at the Dragonfly Beach Retreat. The owner was so kind and helpful. The room was clean. We felt like we had a private beach. We loved listening to the waves and animals at night.

Beach is beautiful but rocky. You have to walk a bit faraway for a good swim. For me breakfast was big enough but for my husband it was a bit too small. Morning yoga session starts at 8am and if you are a light sleeper like I am you will hear the drums which they hit to start the class. We had small issue with villa next to the beach they had guests parting on the balcony till late midnight. But after we talked to Orion he fixed the problem and we haven't experienced any disturbance after 10pm. Me as a chief can advise to get rid of all scratched teflon frying pans from the guest kitchens coz they just poison your food while you are cooking.

Staff and Orion are supper friendly and always ready to assist. Nature and beach are beautiful. Our villa next to yoga deck has best location far from noisy road and parking area. Breakfast was tasty.

It was adult only and very quiet and peaceful with all the sounds of the rainforest and sea.

We loved this cozy and beautiful place! The bungalows are located in a lush garden, where we encountered several sloths. Through the garden you can reach the beach where you can swim or rent a kayak to go up a river (there are monkeys and other animals). The beach is beautiful and pretty empty. The bungalow is super beautiful and has everything you need. If you have any questions or requests, Orion, the manager of the hotel, will be there for you. Orion gave us so much good advice for activities in the area, restaurant recommendations and of course always made sure we had everything we needed in our bungalow. This was a perfect week for us in this Paradise. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, fantastic, incredible! The Dragonfly is a jewel! The garden of the complex is lovingly maintained, all of the bungalows have their own character (in our Dragonfly mural the 7 chakras were painted - that was beautiful) and Orion as manager is a wonderful, helpful and attentive person! You can always reach him very quickly and the communication went smoothly! We enjoyed our stay 100% and would love to come back!

We found a huge spider in our casita. Not anybody’s fault. We were aware we’re in Costa Rica. But that was all.

Staff was amazing. We were initially put in an non AC unit (I didn’t know only certain ones had AC) and it was too hot for us so I asked if we could move to one with air and was willing to pay. They moved us no problem, and didn’t charge us.

Maybe adding an A/C to the casitas would be a nice add-on, but the Fans do the job as well!

best location ever, right next to Punta Uva with an own beach access, amazingly helpful & friendly staff & beautiful Casitas in an amazingly private Setting, huge garden and pool area for only around 5 Bungalows, we had an amazing stay at the place!

Great location and loved the beach area. Easy walking distance to restaurants. The pool was refreshing and staff were helpful. The yoga class on Tuesday was a nice touch. There were also fresh coconuts in the frig for us to enjoy.

The staff is amazing! Very informed on the area. The Casita is adorable, we felt like we were the only ones at the resort. The location is the best, walkable to great restaurants and easy to get to the downtown scene.

This is a grand new retreat, with a beach front. 50 meter walk and you are at the best beach in the area. The retreat it self is amazingly beautiful. The pool is welcoming and you can enjoy the facilities to make barbeque, or just relax. Yoga classes are also available to enjoy.

Beautiful landscaping, safe and secure, modern casitas, great management, private beach entrance. All around wonderful place.

Our room was very very humid, since there are no windows (only mosquito nets) when it rains (which happens quite a lot of course!) everything inside gets damp. This is quite common in CR as many casitas have no windows and no air con, but not at this price level.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach. The garden is lovely.
