The staff made our stay unforgettable: yoga with Dominique was great — she’s super kind, attentive, and always there if you need anything. Christian gave us great tips on places to visit, and Juanca gave us such a warm welcome. Highly recommended!

Absolutely everything was amazing. The staff- super friendly, nice and open. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. They offer complimentary yoga classes- that are super nice. They have a sauna and an ice bath- which we very much enjoyed. The pools are very nice as well. Basically, one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Costa Rica. The location is also very nice. Plenty of beaches and restaurants nearby, and the location is very lively.

If you love nature, wellness with a touch of reasonable luxury, this place is quite simply one of the best hotels for you. My wife and I fell in love and it quickly rose up to be one of our best ever stays. The staff were attentive to our every need and personalized our stay beautifully. The rooms were exceptional and the location is great. Everything worked out great on our first visit to Costa Rica because of Esh Hotel.

Drinks were not good, they seemed watered down. Sun light comes into the room through a few windows leaving the room a bit bright in the morning. Shower pressure could be improved.

Very friendly, attentive and responsive staff. Cozy and well-decorated room. Comfortable bed with high quality pillows and sheets. Pool area was really nice. The food was very good.

Everything about my at ESH was perfect. The architecture is clean and calming, room amazing, yoga excellent, staff friendly and intuitive, the whole place invites to slow down. It’s not just an hotel, it’s a quiet reset. Beautiful beach only 7 minutes away. Highly recommended

I love everything about Esh, it's an exceptional place. The staff provides outstanding service and creates an atmosphere of genuine warmth and hospitality. I recently experienced a magical stay at a hotel that felt straight out of a lush, jungle dream. I'd say the breakfast needs a little more attention. Some dishes were good, but many others were not. For guests staying over 3 days, it starts getting a little boring.

The hotel is tastefully and thoughtfully designed. From candles to incense in your room, you can see and feel the many eyes in details that this hotel exudes. I enjoyed waking up in the mornings to yoga and swimming in a beautiful pool. The surroundings are well maintained. It feels like a home away from home. Dinner is delicious, and the staff is welcoming and attentive.

The food could use a bit more flavor, and the lunch/dinner portions felt somewhat small for the price. Additionally, the gap in the door to the open shower allowed a large number of mosquitoes to enter our room at night.

The hotel is stunning, with spacious rooms and large, comfortable beds. The staff is incredibly kind and caring. The morning yoga classes by Dominique were amazing.

The place was beyond beautiful and very detail oriented. From their intention setting ceremony to the design and their service was beyond perfect. The food at their restaurant Almar was delicious and their curated cocktails were fantastic. I honestly wish I stayed longer.

I had high expectations for ESH Hotel Nosara, given its 5-star rating, but the experience was quite disappointing. The breakfast was one of the most frustrating aspects. The options never matched what was stated on the menu, and items that were supposed to be included were consistently missing. There was no tropical fruit selection, very few choices overall, and instead of fresh juice, they served store-bought orange juice—unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber, especially in Costa Rica. The flatbread was served a day late, and the overall food quality felt careless. Outside, the structure showed signs of poor maintenance, and cleanliness was lacking. Staff simply swept debris under sunbeds in the pool area rather than properly cleaning. It gave the impression of surface-level upkeep rather than true care. Lastly, the staff engagement was minimal. There was no warmth or attention to detail, which really impacted the overall guest experience. ESH Hotel has potential, but it’s currently far from delivering the standard expected of a 5-star property.
