Right on the beach 7km south of Jaco. Beautiful black sand beach but waves were very rough. Excellent breakfast in restaurant looking at ocean. Good and clean swimming pool. Very helpful staff.

Big waves, couldn’t swim in the ocean at times , 2 windows in room wouldn’t close completely, no monkey sightings

On the beach, food was amazing and large variety on menu, dining is next to the ocean, black sand beach, close to good pizza and 24 hr store for any extras needed, allowed early check in, did a load of laundry for us for small free and left folded in our room, beautiful pool, beautiful sitting area for our room with pool and ocean view, beautiful macaws around property

The staff were really nice at the hotel. Everyone smiling and nice. Alicia at the reception was super helpful with the bookings and recommendations. The room was quite big and everything was really comfortable. The food at the hotel is worth attention. A lot of different places around but it's worth to check the dishes in the restaurant!

Very nice hotel and location and staff but we had a bad time with the restaurent service. My son asked for spaghetti with seafood , we waited for an hour and they gave it to another client. In addition, the next day i ordered omelet with vegetables. They bring it with ham so i left my plate and went out to my room.

The location of this hotel couldn’t be better. It’s right on the beach. Stunning hotel, very friendly staff, good food. I wish we stayed longer. To top it off, we saw scarlet macaws a short walk from the hotel, as well as vultures and iguanas.

Our room had no balcony or patio, just overlooked the office, but that was our fault for not reading our reservations and they were fully booked so couldn't move us. Honestly we didn't mind because we were hardly in our room, but if that's important to you, I would suggest looking at your reservation closely to make sure you don't get that room (most of the rooms had patios, ours was one of the few that didn't). Also, we didn't have a fridge in our room which would have been nice to have but we just picked up ice at the local store.

The complimentary breakfast was excellent, as was every meal we had at the restaurant, outside overlooking the beach. The resort is small but we hardly left it because they had everything we needed and the food was so good we didn't really want to try anywhere else. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and even helped with tour suggestions. The rooms were very clean and comfortable but we hardly were in it, we walked the beach forever and sat at the pool.

Dont go for a basic room - a balcony is certainly worth it. No complaints.

The proximity to the beach is wonderful - it was a very relaxing few days. The pool was very welcome and did not get too busy, and the food in the restaurant was also very good. The cocktails were great too!

Alan and all of the staff were wonderful. So welcoming and provided us with information for side trips. The pool and facilities were very clean. The service with avocado was superb. The beach and sunsets were spectacular. Alan even arranged for a ride to Fuego Del Sol from the SJO airport and back again.

We had probably the best room in the place, overlooking the beach on the 1st floor, 2 balconies. Therefore it was perfect, great staff….really friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast, fab cocktails in happy hours and a perfect place to relax. We didn’t go to Jaco as intended, there was no need to leave the hotel with its pool and beach.
