Nothing - all was perfect!

The property is beautiful, gorgeous views over the coast and sunset. The apartment itself is spacious, spotless, comfy kingsized bed and had great facilities: aircon and the shower were the best we had in a 6week long trip! The pool/yoga/lounge space is perfect - such a peaceful haven! The apartment was the perfect luxury we needed, and exceeded all our expectations. Chris was so attentive, he drove us to the local supermarket and back as the walk is about 30 minutes, Chris gave us local takeaway delivery number incase we wanted this too. He also booked us a shuttle to La Fortuna for a very reasonable price. Chris made our stay really lovely and we would come back in a heartbeat!

The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. My husband had a dive with Chris and was satisfied with the experience. The view from the balcony delighted us every day. Great place to stay!

Super beautiful view !! They offer great vacation services like snorkeling. (For extra price but it is worth it) We stayed here for our honeymoon, and the owners decorated it for us for the special occasion! Super kind owners from Sweden who speak many languages !

We liked everything about our stay at Horizon Lodge.

Our stay at Horizon Lodge was delightful. The view is spectacular and can be enjoyed from nearly all areas of the property including the wonderful infinity pool and sun decks. The location is situated in a beautiful private area which is a short drive to most of the nearby towns and beaches. Our apartment provided everything we needed and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Chris was very responsive regarding our questions and Nadia greeted us and made us feel welcomed.

While most of the units were occupied during our stay, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Every morning we drank our coffee on the deck by the pool with beautiful views of the ocean and a few rainbows. We had the pool to ourselves whenever we used it. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage and space in the unit. I could see staying here for an extended period of time.

The property is having some problems accepting card payments through Booking.com. Like some other visitors, we selected to prepay and assumed our payment had been processed - especially as nothing was said about still needing to pay during check-in. The owner had messaged me via WhatsApp with a PayPal link the day prior. We're wary of PayPal, so I reached out to customer service before arrival to ask them to please just charge my payment method on file, since that was what I opted for at the time of booking, anyway. Apparently, the property doesn't allow Booking to do this, and the owner sent me WhatsApp messages that evening to settle payment. We eventually got it sorted out with a guest link. While we sympathize with their predicament, as customers, we felt the whole thing could've been handled more professionally (at check-in, in the daylight, and/or communicated through Booking.com chat, where we'd previously corresponded.)

They've done a wonderful job with this property! This was our 8th accommodation on this trip to Costa Rica, and it had the best of all worlds. Quiet enough to feel remote, but connected to groceries, gas, and services in town. Fantastic A/C in the common space and both bedrooms. A thorough cleaning job, enough towels for a family of 4 (including pool towels), and a very well-equipped kitchen. The owners were so kind to accommodate early check-in so that our young daughters could get settled; they even brought them a high chair and kids' chairs, which they adored! The view from the pool is gorgeous and we appreciated the little outdoor gym, too. We watched the cleaning team wipe down outdoor railings and dust off loungers. They're clearly taking pride in keeping this place up. We would definitely stay again!

The condo was outstanding with an amazing view and great proximity to multiple beaches. The hosts are great people who went above and beyond from the moment we arrived, they were a big reason why our vacation exceeded all expectations. Big thank you to the hosts, and HIGHLY recommend the Horizon Lodge.

Modern , comfortable, well designed and well equipped apartment in a 4 unit complex. Spices, teas, premium coffee, etc. in the kitchen. The very private, safe and quiet location. No nearby construction. The small workout/yoga area which has a chin up bar, yoga mats and a few light kettle bells. Pool and sitting area.

It gets a bit warm in the afternoon inside thd living room, although you have the A/C and fan to make it comfortable.

Great views, very comfortable, private and with everything you need to enjoy the nice beaches. Extra points if you love diving as the host will be a great guide to introduce or expand your interest in the matter. Great jacuzzi to view the sunrise or sunsets from the balcony is also a great selling point

Nice new apartments near Potrero and many attractions. Clean and comfortable, nice pool and common areas. Well equipped kitchen, coffee, tea and spices. Access to washing and drying machines.

Everything was perfect.

Chris and Nadia are wonderful hosts, they were there to greet us upon arrival and the check in was smooth and easy and we felt at home right away. Our place was spacious, clean, well appointed and with comfortable beds. This place is very peaceful, quiet with absolutely stunning views. We enjoyed the outdoor workout area and the infinity pool overlooking expansive mountain and ocean views. We rented a car and it was easy access to the town for any needs and you are minutes to several gorgeous beaches. We stayed here for 8 nights and made a great decision and will definitely be back.

the property is beautiful and expertly maintained and very secure. It looks out over the ocean and hills away from the traffic of the town. very peaceful. The apartment was new, modern, clean, comfortable with all we needed plus luxuries such as our own jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. We loved the semi-private pool and lounging area with the incredible view. Kitchen well equipped. Also had condiments like sugar, coffee, tea, etc which we appreciated. The hosts were very helpful. I didn't have access to the instructions they sent for entry. They reside at the property and were able to solve problem quickly even though it was late at night when we arrived. Parking was right below the building. Lots of restaurants and beaches nearby. Highly recommend a car to get here and to get around the Potrero and Flamingo Bay area to enjoy the beaches and towns
