Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBecause I was in a ground floor room, it could be noisy when other guests were upstairs, sounds of footsteps could be loud at times.
Good location and very helpful and friendly staff. Set in it's own little paradise, surrounded by beautiful palms, stunning birds, the odd howler monkeys and a small, clean swimming pool, very tranquil. Nice buffet breakfast including delicious fruits each day. Donna was so helpful in booking trips and tours around the area. The Manuel Antonio park tour, the jungle night tour and the chocolate tour are really worth a visit, plus lunch or dinner is included, which is a nice bonus. I find the hotel is very clean with constant hot running water. Rooms are very adequate, new bathrooms, comfortable beds, good WiFi connection, great aircon plus a ceiling fan. It's in a perfect location next door to the national park and easy access to the beach, which is stunning. Great for early morning walks. Lots of choices to eat out. I was happy to stay here.

Czech RepublicCoffee and water were free at the reception for the whole day. The hotel has a beautiful pool and is very close to the entrance to the Manuel Antonio National park and 5 minutes from the beach.

United StatesOne thing just one was the toilet was very close to the shower wall and hence a little uncomfortable with right leg. Other rooms may not have this issue.
24/7 under security, gated property. Though parking is not guaranteed we were able to find one spot when checking in and parked the car there. Walked around wherever we wanted to go in Manuel Antonio area. Awesome restaurants and food scene and bars. Close to the Manuel Antonio National Park pretty much right in front of the park. Close to the public beach. Clean, beds, pillows, showers, pool, breakfast was awesome, staff. William is awesome. So are the other staff there helping during the breakfast, staff maintaining the hotel clean, and more. Was the best stay during my 7 day road trip in Costa Rica, that included stays in San Jose, La Fortuna, Monteverde, and of course Manuel Antonio.

Costa RicaI liked the location, the service, breakfast was simple but good. I just didn't like they did not have parking lots available so we had to pay a public one.

United StatesThe rooms two of us were assigned were next to the kitchen of the restaurant next door, resulting in noise and laughter until after midnight and starting again at 5 am. Maybe better noise insulation could be used.
We really appreciated the welcome from the staff and the assistance we needed

United StatesOur primary goal was visiting Manuel Antonio National Park. Millennium is very close to the entrance, close to restaurants and beaches. We never had to use our car once it was parked. Rooms were comfortable, with fans and AC. Breakfast also was very decent.

Costa RicaIt doesn’t have enough parking space, so you have to leave the car in the parking next to the property. Which wouldn’t be so bad, but the charge is 5,000 colones from 7 to 7, which means for a day at the checking hour you pay 10,000 colones. Also, if a parking becomes available at the hotel, once they get you a spot, you cannot longer take the car out of the hotel, because they will give the spot to someone else. If you go out, means you will have to pay again the 10,000 at the parking lot next door.

NetherlandsIf I have to give one point of feedback it's that the pool has seen its best days, and could use a makeover. It has a lot of potential!
William at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a better room, which was spacious. The breakfast was good (eggs, bread, cereals, lots of fruits, etc). We were able to park the car on the property, which felt safe. The entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park is super close to the hotel so we could easily enter the park early in the morning. The beach is at walking distance so we enjoyed two beautiful sunsets before returning to the hotel. Nearby there are multiple restaurants.

United KingdomNeeds investment in staff and basic items; Most of the staff apart from Will and Diego were at best non-communicative and at worst rude. The breakfast buffet was limited and unpredictable plus items such as cups, spoons and serviettes in short supply. Early mornings were very noisy. Wifi was very intermittent even though two networks were eventually provided. Limited car parking that caused issues for other guests.
It is very close to the park entrance and a short, flat walk to the lovely beach. Comfy beds and large room with good sized bathroom. Close proximity to a range of cafes and restaurants.

United StatesThe bed was pretty uncomfortably, the TV barely worked, the actual bed/bed-frame was dirty, the shower didn’t get hot, the armoire was actually falling apart. The walls were so thin and where our room was located was right outside the public parking and was very loud in the morning. I loved the pool but it didn’t look like the pictures, they clearly don’t clean it out and there’s cracks everywhere. The breakfast was good, but limited. Eggs, toast, tomatoes, cheese, spam, some fruit. Always coffee and tea.
You stay here for the location! It’s a quick walk to the beach, right next to the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park and right next to a restaurants and bars! It’s convenient having breakfast, parking on availability and the pool. The aircon worked great, sheets and towels felt clean.

United KingdomThe staff were mostly lovely, but some were very awkward, the laundry service seemed to have a broken scale (4kg regardless of whether one or both of our bags were on it), we had no hot water in the shower for three days, the rooms back onto the kitchen of a restaurant, so it can be loud, breakfast is pretty limited. The pool was not clean and didn’t look like the tiled pictures on Booking. Lock for the room didn’t feel that secure. We came away thinking we’d paid for the location, and probably should’ve expanded our budget - this is a much more expensive area than other key tourist areas.
The location. You are perfectly placed for the national park here and a 2min walk from beach and plenty of bars and restaurants. Beautiful fruit at breakfast and free coffee and water. The air conditioning was also super effective and quiet.

United StatesWe were told parking was included which is not true- it is first come, first serve. We had to pay $10 a day to park down the block in an unsecured dark parking lot. Wifi was meh in the rooms but good near the front desk.
William was wonderful, the other staff did not speak much English. Very clean- recently renovated and one of the few accommodations in Costa Rica with sufficient hot water
