I felt like the staff was not so welcoming. The hostel is really big so maybe they have so many guest they cannot be attentive to each one of us but it made me feel a bit unwanted. I also did laundry and paid 4$ per kilogram and it didn’t smell good after. When I asked them for some information they couldn’t give me much, and the only tour I booked with them was with a guide that wasn’t so friendly. I strongly suggest to book a tour to the Manuel Antonio Park cause overall it was a great experience and thanks to the guide I was able to see animals with the telescope (maybe with another company online). Another little downside of this hostel was the position, cause it was in the middle of the street between the two cities Manuel Antonio e Quepos, and at first I didn’t quite get how to get around. But in the end I found a local bus that connects the two cities so it was fine!

I stayed in the 8 bed dormitory and I loved it! I was able to choose my bed cause I was the first one and I chose one of the two non bunk beds. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. I went to bed with the sound of the night and it was to peaceful and calming. The bathroom was really big and overall really clean. The room was so comfy I spent most of my night chilling on my bed watching a movie. The view was stunning!! We could also see the ocean.

I liked everything

I liked the ocean view from my porch. I enjoyed the pool. I really liked the $5-00 breakfasts and eating at the restaurant was nice. I liked the artistic paintings and murals through the property.

the staff (except for david and the woman) were really bad, they kept on being mean towards me and my friends for no reason at all, when you wanted to ask them anything they would at first ignore you and then answer with little to no energy. And the man who has the crooked teeth and the limp who comes at night didn’t even try to be nice, he was just outright rude.

There were no more towels left when we checked-in. This seemed to be a regular problem because I heard this mentioned more often. The pool was nice but the water level was getting lower by the day. It seemed liked the guests had to take out the leaves themselves. The WiFi was spotty at best. When I was in the room it took me several minutes to start listening to a podcast or load a webpage. The dorm rooms do not have glass windows. There is no sound blocked and the road down below can get noisy at times.

The view from Plinio is really nice. Between a couple trees you have a great view of the sea that lays beyond. There were also some parrots nearby that flew past and sat in a tree. The provided locker was nice and spacious, it could store my entire backpack. However not all lockers were the same size so be advised. The building looked awesome and the balconies were a cool touch. It felt like you were in a Jungle Resort. Loved the hammocks and the vibe. The hostsel seemed more like travel host rather than a stay and socialize hostel.

The fact that when I arrived, I found that booking. com put me down as 2 people and not one , as well as for 2 concurrent bookings. I had to pay for a superfluous booking.
