The location was good, both close to the town and close to the sea and the ship And you have a really cool pool and the place visually looks nice and clean

Location was a little out of town, so prepare for a hot walk in the sun to get to shops or the soda. Staff only spoke Spanish which may make it hard for others. Dorm room could use some renovation and privacy curtains.

The pool was really dreamy, nice hammocks to relax. Came for the bioluminiscence tour which was awesome! Due to the town being aside of the typical gringo trail, only one more girl slept in the dorm with me. Towel and soap provided.

The location require your own car. Think of it as a motel well located for getting to nearby activities.

A great value for me place with all comfort of individual rooms and amenities ( Pool & Restaurant) at the price of a Hostel.

The location was next to a bike shop and someone was brapping/revving their very loud dirt bike in the middle of the night!

The staff were friendly and spoke English.

This place met my expectations. Restaurant menu could use a little work - the kids did not want to eat what was offered on the menu. A couple more towels available in the rooms would be helpful.

Cafe at location was easy and helpful. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Great Hostel the pool was a hit and rooms were comfortable. Love that some of the adventures could be arranged to meet our group needs right on site.

Pillows and beds were a bit worn down and uncomfortable for our tastes.

The owners kindly greeted us, gave us a tour of the premesis, and made us feel at home. They set us up for a same day bioluminescent bay tour, which was the highlight of our stay, although the pool was a close second. A great location and value with AC taboot.

We were there just quickly overnight so was fine but for a longer stay it really needs some loving... a bigger fan at least, it was hot and shower was not the cleanest, bed not too comfortable eaither, no space to put clothes...

The room layout was a bit of a motel like vibe which was sort of strange. And the kitchen wasn’t very functional.

The room was BOILING. We regret not getting the room with A/C. Also, on the last day, there was no water. Also, very uncomfortable pillows and no screen on the window so we could not open the window for some cool air. I also got a rash from the pool unfortunately.

The tour was amazing and magical. The guides were very knowledgeable and great.

It is closed to the main road so quite noisy because of the traffic.

We enjoyed the really big room and bed, and also the ac. Good wifi. We did the kayak tour from 4pm to 7pm and it was so nice, we loved it !

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff and tours are also great! Perfect for 1 or 2 nights in Paquera.

Bathroom sketchy. Not dirty but no toilet paper no hot water and the door held close with a bolt on a string. Dorm room option very basic and beds very close to each other. And $3USD extra to pay by credit card seems a bit excessive.

Cheap price for the room, nice location close to restaurants and bioluminescense tour options. Booked a dorm room but luckily had the whole room to myself.

The room that we booked was covered in mosquitos but we got a better one! The curtains were very see through and my bed was next to the window.

I’d say the hostel is a great starting point for doing a tour and it offers you the basics of what you need. The power outlet near my bed didn’t work though but that’s a minor thing.

The room was spacious, had a en-suite bathroom, AC and the bed was big and great. Most importantly, the bioluminescent tour organised from out of the hostel was wonderful! It was amazing to kayak the ocean at night and experience the glowing water. Coco was a very nice and friendly guide and even back at the hostel he wasn’t shy of offering me a beer or two.

The stairs look like they are about to fall apart due to the rust. The kitchen was very dirty, and the room smelt like mold. I also wouldn't recommend it to people travelling without a car as it's far away from everything and taxi prices are insane (12$ for 10 min drive)

The room was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable, the AC saved us from the heat!

The dogs were a little noisy during the day, but they generally quieten down at night.

Very nice clean room with great air conditioning. Awesome kitchen and living area. And the staff were lovely and very helpful despite my lack of Spanish! Good location, just on the edge of town centre. Felt very secure there with a locked door into the dorm rooms. There's a nice bakery next door too!
