No hangers in the bathroom, location hard to reach without car need to walk uncomfortable street. Food is mediocre but very pricey. All other food options are minimum 15 min by walking. Pool need renovation.

there was no sea view - its blocked by the trees. You only ever meet staff at the check in and then they are MIA. The shower was COLD. The body wash wasn't enough or good, generally very budget for what you pay.

Excellent villas with beach view and free beach access. Excellent location, free parking, complimentary breakfast and access to the beach. It was especially convenient to walk to Manuel Antonio park as parking is a hassle around the area. Staff was courteous and even helped us get our luggage to and from the villa. The villas are quite a climb up the hill via steep steps and there is no elevator.

My room, number 7, had an amazing view, exclusive. However it was a challenge to walk up all those stairs with a Toddler and baggages. Restaurant prices were high ($24 usd for a regular burger with fries)

The hotel has an excellent, very convenient beachfront location on the beautiful beach. Sunsets will take your breath away. It is perfectly organized for guests to have a long day on the beach. Rooms are located nearby, including the Mountain View rooms just a short walk away. The service on the beach is managed very efficiently, starting from setting up the beach beds and umbrellas, taking care of drinks (fantastic Happy Hour options!) and lunch. Definitely the address for us to return while on future holidays in Costa Rica! Sincere thanks to all staff for the wonderful hospitality.

Location! Right on a beautiful beach and walking distance to Manuel Antonio National Park and many restaurants. Excellent staff, food and drinks. Happy hour from 1-6 every day with 2 for 1 drinks. Chairs and umbrellas are provided and they will bring you food and drinks on the beach. The hotel is older but well maintained and clean. The included breakfast is a buffet but had a good selection. We ate at the restaurant our first night and found it to be very good with attentive service.

Cons: If you are in a mountainside room, you either have to climb a bunch of steep stairs and no Wi-Fi, or stay in a lower room with the noise from the busy street. Also, if you have a mountainside room, you have to cross the busy street to get to the beach. Finally, I was disappointed in the breakfast: no meat, no pancakes or waffles, and runny scrambled eggs. All that being said, I still think the pros outweigh the cons. I would stay here again and book a beachside room.

Pros: Beautiful beach; great location; nice staff. If you want easy access to a beautiful beach, then this place is great. The rooms are very basic, but nice. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant is very good, but expensive. We also found the resident monkeys entertaining. Plus, the entrance to the national park is only a mile away or walkable by beach.

I did not recall seeing in the hotel details that property was divided in two areas, one on the other side of the main street, next to the front office that is where I stay( there was a lot of noise due to the cars passing). Also, my room was the last one on the 1st floor next to the fence (#112), and I felt a bit like no one had stayed before (bit dusty and a use soap use in the shower), I had a scorpion visit during night.

Staff was friendly and helpful, food was good, and near the beach.

The room does not have a television and the lighting is very poor. The drinks and food in the hotel restaurant are not worth their high prices and they do not prepare good cocktails. Breakfast could be better, more varied, and they could also offer better coffee.

I liked that it was close to the Espadilla Beach and that it included beach chairs and towels. It is also relatively close to the area with some restaurants and to the Manuel Antonio Nature Reserve. Breakfast is included and is good. The staff was very friendly.

The furniture showed marks of humidity

We had a room in the upper part of the hotel. It is a small climb, but the view from our room was very regarding. The beach and beach bar are great And there is wildlife in the garden and on the beach: we saw monkeys, macaws, sloths, lizards and other animals.
