Nothing, everything was great!

We felt very safe staying at La Fortuna Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recomendations in the area. Location was great, easy access to walk around, or a short drive to the La Fortuna waterfall or the hot springs. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was very clean and had a nice view. We absolutley would stay here again!

We had the standard room which is located by the laundry room and the kitchen. So pay extra and get an upgrade to a 3rd floor suite.

The breakfast was amazing and the location was in walking distance to most restaurants and shops. Tours pick you up at hotels too. Loved the lounging spaces in the hotel too! The staff was also very nice. They made us feel very welcome! 🙏🏽

I loved that the property was within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Also enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast. The bed was nice and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was fantastic!

The service! Daniel is the best receptionist I have ever encountered. He is very knowledgeable about the area and very willing to answer any questions you have. He is very friendly and his English is great! The view of the volcano in the lounge area is a huge bonus as well as the homemade breakfast catered to you. The hotel is right in the heart of La Fortuna. There’s grocery stores all around as well as shops. Not to mention, the horseback riding and zip lining activity I booked with the hotel were fantastic. The horseback riding went around an area giving us a great view of the volcano and the zip line was next to the waterfall so as you can imagine the views were fantastic as well. Would 100% recommend!

My superior room didn’t have a view which means that the window was facing a wall and technical rooms.. In the night it was quite noisy, probably because of the laundry/washing machines. All was not really bad, but I would not book this room type again.

Good location with the volcano view, nice big shared terrace, where you can relax in the evening. The rooms was air conditioned and had a fridge.

Lovely property set just off the centre of town so convenient for eating out, shopping and getting to local sightseeing spots. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was very good and rooms well maintained. Definitely recommend if wanting to stay in La Fortuna with clear views of the Arenal Volcano.

Really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and different options. Location was quiet yet only a couple blocks walking distance from main square. Staff were amazing, very thoughtful and kind. Went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Gardens were beautiful. View of the volcano was great when not clouded over. One of the best hotel experiences we have had on our month long trip around Costa Rica so far.

Although just walking distance from La Fortuna's downtown and restaurants, it was rather peaceful. Great facilities and nice shared terrace with direct view of the Arenal. Good and speedy internet connection. Loved the shower, both for the high pressure and the hot water. Room had air conditioning and a fan

The wall is not soundproof and you can hear the other room.

The location is great with the volcano view and walking distance to the downtown. The staff is very nice, helpful and responsive. I requested for special arrangement for my partner’s birthday and they had it arranged nicely. Highly recommended.
