The wait staff did not have our preordered breakfast ready, and seemed to not know we had requested it, but we saw the request written the day before.

Has a terrace where you can observe the volcano at anytime. The personnel are very courteous and helpful. La Colina is close to the main church, stores, lots of restaurants but their food is really good and prices reasonable. Also they have a share kitchen and groceries store are near.

Breakfast was included in the price of the lodging, and it was an excellent meal. The hotel was centrally located, and everything was within a walking distance.

There was no kettle in the rooms. So no tea or coffee making facilities. Breakfast was served from 7am onwards - so unable to make yourself a hot drinks when just chilling at the hotel or if you had a early morning activity.

Perfect location right near the centre. All the staff at this hotel were super helpful and really lovely. Staff helped with booking activities and recommendations. Easy to get to different locations for activities in this region/area.

We had a room close to the lobby/restaurant and the commotion of people was a bit noisy at times.

We loved the location of this hotel. We were in walking distance from restaurants & shops! The staff were very accommodating and super friendly! The restaurant attached served good food. There was live entertainment in the middle of the week which was such a treat!

Our room was next to the noisy bar but it closes at 8pm so no too bad. The room was cramped with 2 double beds. The balcony faced a building. The kitchen was dark and dirty with a charge to use the gas cooker.

In the center of Fortuna and all the shops/restaurants. The view of Arenal volcano is nice. Live music was playing on the night we stayed here. The choice at breakfast was good. Staff were really friendly. The shower was powerful.

its a bit too loud in the room i stayed just next to the bar and there were no windows in the room. the boy at the reception in the evening was not helpful at all, very different from the staff in the morning.

the room was spacious and the bathroom was huge, i was alone in the dorm. the girl in the reception was really nice and did a great job!

The hot water didn’t work in the shower, so had to have a cold shower. It needed updating! And there were no ‘windows’, on large windows into the hallway which needed the curtains to be kept closed always. Below average food (especially for the price). Quite noisy too

It was cheap, and had a room that I needed last minute. I asked at the desk how much and he said $70 best price for a private room- but booking.com told me $30?! Staff were super friendly and welcoming
